I am looking to find some good ideas for non-crowded viewing spots for both Wishes and Illuminations. I know some of the main areas which always seem to be so incredibly congested and hard to maneuver (especially for my DH who is in a wheelchair). What are some suggestions for good viewing areas that aren't as crowded and maybe not as well-known.

I'm not quite sure how it works with a wheelchair, but I highly recommend the FP+ viewing area for Wishes. It was fairly uncrowded when I was there in late-October and had a good view.

hi allie_to_you . I know that Illuminations has a wheelchair viewing area as far as wishes the very pest bet it fast pass for wishes in the rose garden. in the park you can see wishes by the Dumbo rides. if you want a real nice place to catch wishes the dock at the Grand Floridian

I was in a wheelchair last year because I tore my meniscus while in Disney. There was a special area for Illuminations but we were not happy with it. There were trees in front of us and we couldn't see much up in the sky.

I vaguely remember a wheelchair viewing area for Illuminations some years back, however, I remember it being crowded.

I did read that there was a FP+ viewing area for Wishes, but wasn't sure about using one of the 3 FP+ we are allowed per day since Wishes is at the end of the day and that would guarantee not being able to get a 4th FP+ if needed

When we were there they had wheelchair seating for Wishes on the second floor of the train station. Not sure if it is always that way

That would be a somewhat difficult place to get to in wheelchair (steep ramps) and it is not a very good location to view the MK fireworks.

That is something you have to decide. If you do get the Wishes FP+, it does mean you cannot get a 4th FP+ until after Wishes (assuming Wishes is your last FP+). I decided to get a Wishes FP+ and a MSEP FP+ and knew that it mean no additional FP+ until after Wishes. I was willing to forgo getting additional FP+ because I wanted to see Wishes and MSEP from the FP+ areas. Having the Wishes FP+ doesn't mean you won't get a 4th FP+, but it depends on how late the park is open. If the park is open past Wishes, then you might still be able to get another FP+.
