Fireworks Viewing Areas at Resort

We will be staying in a tower - water view room. This will also be our first time at the Contemporary Resort. I understand we will be able to see the electric water pageant from our balcony, but is there anywhere at the hotel to watch the fireworks at MK? Are there general viewing areas at the resort if we can't make it over to the park... like our first day when we won't have theme park reservations. Thank you!
