The controls strick. The arrow keys are not responsive and do not change in time to explode the correct firework. I hate this game now

ite either lag or ur using a wireless keyboard and mouse which isnt good a wired mouse and keyboard will workd much better for any game. or maybe new fireworks is to much for ur comptuer? or u need new keyboard?

I'm not very good at the game yet but here are a few other tips for gaining a few points here and there... sometimes it makes sense to go for the less than flawless scores.

It doesn't improve your score much but if you just messed up your flawless multiplier and a bunch of fireworks come up that you can't get flawless on, rather than skip them, click on them anyway until you get another flawless. Points are points. Once you get another flawless, only go for flawless.

Along the same idea, if you are totally confused at the end of a round when a bunch of different fireworks are launched and you have no hope of getting a flawless, consider using explode all. I end up getting at least some "ok" points instead of the zero I would have gotten if I had tried to explode the fireworks individually. I do try to match one of the fireworks first if I can but even when I haven't matched any, I have never gotten a screenfull of "oops" scores.

If you don't get flawless on the first firework of the round and can't get flawless on the second firework, go for awesome on the second firework rather than skip it unless that prevents you from getting flawless on the third firework.

None of these tips will give you a great score but they can add a few points to your score when you have no hope of getting a flawless. On the other hand it's often better to skip a firework to be certain you will get a flawless on the next firework so use your best judgement. I finished in second place with eight points less than the winner. If I had used these simple tips, I could have finished in first! Sadly, I hadn't mastered the game enough to have figured out these little tips before I played that match.

Keeping the flawless going as much as you can will help a lot! Also, hitting the explode all when you can get the most credits helps. Be sure that your curser is on the correct icon when you hit the explode all button. You don't have to hit every single firework either, just aim for flawless, if you can't get flawless for it, skip that one. I can get to almost 3500, and I am stuck at this point. But I keep practicing and trying new methods.

this did help a bit, thx for bumping it up Mnemeth. No matter how much help i get i still stink at this game lol. I just want to get that yellow car so bad but i cant even reach 4,000.

Thanks for the tips. So far I am hovering at the 6k mark. I need 6500 to get the yellow car. I wasn't really thinking about combos, but now that you helped make more sense of the combos for me, I will try them the next time I play. I am curious to see if it finally will bump me up!

There are a few things I don't understand about the game. Sometimes I will hit flawless the first round, and yet I don't break 400. I wonder if sometimes the scoring is a bit off on the game. I also think it is silly that the 2nd to last level, first round, always has that little trick...where it doesn't shoot off in the order it says it will start. Sneaky the first few times, but they you realize it is always that way!

Wish me luck. The highest I have gotten is 6300... I just need to get to 6500. Later on I will worry about the green car!


I just need to edit that my high score is now 6900! hehe

I find that it is hard to play the new remix when use to the old version. That to me is what makes it the most difficult, but practice does make your score go up, I can at least get to 3,700 now and it took alot to get there.
