We will be there in one week so I was just wondering. How long does the fireworks show last? Do you have time to do rides after the show if the park closes at 11:00? What time do you start staking out a spot on the hub to see the show?

Thank you..

If you want a nice spot at the hub go EARLY. especially on busy days. At least 45 minutes, but I would go as far to say at least an hour- hour and a half if you want a bench.

The show is about 20 minutes? and there is some time afterwards to ride rides. I know a mass crowd of people leave the parks at that time, so you'll probably enjoy fewer wait times too!

Thank you for the quick reply. Now I can add that to my list of times - I think my planning is starting to get obsessive!!

I was so impressed by the fireworks, its like a tribute to many rides in Disneyland, probably the best fireworks show I have ever seen, John

I like getting a seat infront of the castle about an hour or so before the show. That way I can go get a drink and something to eat and wait it out. Anymore then that and your wasting precious park time.

or you could just get lucky?

we walked up tonight at 9:17 and got a spot right near the front of the castle. AWESOME. there was tons of space too

Yea totally!

There are always "Spaces" here and there, but a lot of time I've found it's people saving it for their families, etc.

I know that at least for the parade that's true- and when people come in to grab up that space, people get pissed! Just last weekend I saw two moms practically go at it in front of everyone because a family came in at the last minute and snuck into the tiniest of spaces in front of them during the EP and completely blocked the little kids view!
