Fireworks on the Magic

Just wanted to say the fireworks on Pirate Night on the Magic were very nice. It was very windy and a bit rainy, but they did a very nice job. They shoot them off of deck 10 down by Paolos which is all roped off of course.

That's what they told us on the Magic cruise 12/11-18. They also positioned the ship so the fireworks could be viewed from all of the staterooms on one side of the ship--not easy to do!

We should all appreciate the efforts of DCL for fireworks since we could take them for granted!! Teri

I had heard several times during our cruise that the Disney Magic is the only ship in the world permitted to carry and set off fireworks at sea. I asked one of the Officers if the Wonder will be getting fireworks and she said they will be doing it too. There are some things they have to work out.
IMHO the new fireworks are better than the ones they used to have in Nassau.

Could the fireworks be viewed by port or starboard staterooms? We have a starboard room for the Eastern. . . .it would be cool if we could watch from our Verandah.

What a nice touch. We've been on three DVC cruises and not had the experience of fireworks.

Makes me want to sign up for another cruise.............. hmmmmm.

On the 12/11/04 Magic, they were off the Starboard (right) side. It appeared as if they were shot from the roof above Palo.

On the 11/27 Magic shot this photo of them setting up fireworks a top Palos. Fireworks were shot toward the starborad side and somewhat low.
