Fireworks late at night on 11/6?

I live next door to Universal and I can usually see the fireworks from my living room windows.

On Monday at around 10:30 pm they had a pretty loud fireworks show, I'd say about 10 minutes long. Obviously after the park had already closed.

Does anyone know what it was for? Just curious.

They had a special event. (A group rented part of the park after hours.)

We were staying at the Hard Rock and saw them perfectly from our room. We were wondering about them too. We ate at City Walk and could see that the Hulk was still running and wondered if the park was still open. Then back at our hotel we saw there was some type of convention going on.
