My two sisters are at Disney World now. My one sister's nephew is one of the few who handle the fireworks at Magic Kingdom; he has been doing this for years. I'm not sure of his exact title, but he is on site and has a logistical role with it all. So cool! He was giving her a play-by-play countdown for the 3rd and 4th Fireworks show. Right before each show, she would get several texts and then one text just stating..."starting". Inside info, you know. 
He told her their rule for beginning the fireworks during storms/lightening...There has to be no lightning for 15 minutes within 7 miles.
