Fireworks from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

I can't find the original thread where I saw this discussed, but wanted to say a HUGE THANKS! to the person who mentioned being able to see the fireworks from BTMR. That is my most favorite ride and we have the most disappointing fireworks luck ever. Our last night, we tried the timing of seeing the fireworks on the ride and it was the most amazing thing ever! We had a fastpass window during the fireworks and had hoped to do the standby line and time it to be riding at the start of the fireworks show, but the line moved quicker than the estimate and the fireworks started about 10 minutes late, so we hopped back in the fastpass line and the fireworks started just as we handed the CM our FP ticket. It was so amazing to see them everytime we came out of the ride and we were able to watch the end of the show as we exited the ride! Truly a magical way to end our trip!

We had a lot of disappointing firework luck on our trip a couple weeks ago, too. BTMRR ended up being our favorite spot to watch, both on the ride and standing near the exit.

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointing fw experience also. I can't figure out why it is so hard to see that show from a decent vantage point. My dd and I are both short. Even when we manage to have a decent spot, the iphones and ipads and kids on shoulders block our view. So grateful for the BTMR experience!

I could not agree more!!

I really wish that people would just live in the moment and enjoy it vs. trying to record it on a device to watch later!

(and another pet peeve ~ that people would look behind them before putting kids up on their shoulders! and I say this lovingly as a mother of 4 who wants her kids to have a great view, too )
