WE HAVE FINALLY BEEN ABLE TO OBTAIN A FIREWORKS CRUISE FOR 5/10/04 ! --- BOAT HOLDS UP TO 12 PEOPLE - THERE ARE ONLY 5 OF US -- ANYONE GOING TO BE THERE ARE THE SAME TIME AND WANT TO SPLIT THE COST?

STILL TRYING TO GET ILLUMINATIONS CRUISE!::MinnieMo

How do I find out about getting these cruises? I will not be there until August 2-12, but I think my kids would love this!! Can you tell me about how much they cost? Afterall, I am trying to stay on some sort of a budget.

Thanks!!!

we have done the fireworks cruise for Mk several times. it is really a neat experience. the number to call is 1-407-939-7529. you can get info and/or book a fireworks cruise for MK at this number. we do one out of WL, but i believe the cruise can also be booked out of other MK resorts. we pay 120$ for the cruise that included the driver.

I was wondering if you had any opinions on which cruise is better? Im not a big epcot fan, but heard this is a fantastic show but have not heard much about the other show.

Thanks!

I haven't done either cruise yet, however, I can tell you that the illuminations cruises are much harder to get a reservation for, kind of like CRT, but not quite that bad. From what I understand there aren't as many boats for the illuminations cruises. We have a Wishes Cruise booked for June out of the Poly. We have 12 people (two other families from the Dis!) and the total cost is $120, so $10 per person.

Can anyone tell me the difference in the two cruises? Other than one is at Epcot and the other at MK?

I have 99 days til I go, so I need to decide what I want to do soon.

Thanks again.

I have been on the Illuminations cruise and have booked the Wishes cruise this summer.

The Illuminations cruise picks you up at Beach club docks. The captain takes on a short cruise towards MGM, then heads to EPCOT. You go diectly to the bridge (next to France) and tie under for a view of the show straight ahead of you (the "centerpiece" of the show is a large ball on a barge that is pulled out to the middle of the lagoon).

Is was really fun. The captain was nice and entertaining.

I'm assuming the Wishes cruise is similar. Youpick the boat up at (I believe) the Contemporary Resort. I image they take ona short trip then park in the lagoon beyond the main gate so youcan watch the FW over the castle.
