Please tell me more about this. I'm thinking of planning an evening there at WCC.

Found this in the Birnbaum guidebook for you. Disney's pontoon boats accommodates up to 12. They take guests on tours of the Seven Seas Lagoon & Bay Lake, near MK, as well as Crescent Lake, near Epcot WS. Those in MK area are treated to VIP viewing of that park's fireworks, while Epcot-area cruisers take in Illuminations. Cruises last 1 hour. MK fireworks excursions depart from GF, Poly, Contemp, Wilderness Lodge, & Ft Wilderness marinas. Illuminations cruises leave from Boardwalk & Yacht & Beach Club marinas. Cost including driver starts at about $150 per boatload.

Hope that helps. I wish I could tell you from personal experience! Have fun!

There's another one listed in the same book for a 45 ft Sea Ray yacht for 16 guests starts at $400 per hour with the per-boatload fee covering up to 14 guests, plus driver & deckhand.

The fireworks cruise from the WL takes you to see Wishes at the MK :thumbsup2 . DH and I did it last year and it was great:love:. Our captain picked us up, drove us around for about 40 minutes giving us interesting bits of trivia and pointing out different things, then settled in front of the MK for Wishes. The view was awesome :wizard: . It cost us $150 plus tip, but I believe the price has increased and they offer different packages, including snacks/beverages, b'day cruises etc. After the fireworks we were dropped off at WL. Oh--we also were able to view the EWP from the boat. I would do it again :goodvibes. There are different boats, I believe the one we were on (a pontoon) could accomodate 10-12 people. It is one price whether you have one person or you fill the boat. Once you book it, it's yours, there wouldn't be strangers on the cruise with you unless you advertised/asked around to share the cost. Many people have done that on these boards successfully  . It's recommended to book these as soon as available (don't remember if it's 90 or 180 days in advance) but we were able to secure ours just 2 weeks ahead of time. :tigger:
