Fireworks cruise (bring your own wine?)

Has anyone brought your own wine on a fireworks cruise? I know they want to sell your theirs, but it's very expensive.

Food and beverages in plastic containers are allowed, even alcohol

I just did one three weeks ago and while we did order bottles of champagne from Private Dining, we all brought a drink on board in a plastic cup without any issues.
