Is there a preference for which dock to pick up our Fireworks Cruise?

I'm not sure why there would be or if you even have a choice?
When I did an EPCOT fireworks cruise I was given instructions on where to go.

At MK we were given a choice between GF and CR. We chose CR because we were staying at BLT but I appreciated the option, I could see having dinner at GF then boarding the boat there.

When you boarded at the Contemporary dock, did you stay on Bay Lake or cross over into the Seven Seas Lagoon?
Seven Seas looks like the viewing would be directly at the castle where Bay Lake looks like the view would be from the side.

We spent time in both. Our driver took us around to see the Electrical Water Parade then we parked in front of MK for fireworks.

This was our experience as well. We boarded the boat at the Contemporary. Our captain took us on a little tour, then we watched the Electrical Water Parade, then we idled directly in front of MK for the fireworks. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

We have boarded at contemporary and gf. Both were nice but locating the pick up space at contemporary is easier if you are unfamiliar with the properties.

These are excellent responses. Thank you. I think we have been assigned the contemporary as our pick up spot.

I have had pickups at Contemporary, GF and Poly. I was able to choose and went by what was convenient for me. When you get picked up they tour the lagoon and Bay Lake, then head to the center of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
