In my past trips to DLR the fireworks have been canceled 1/2 the time. Its almost always due to high winds at a higher elevation.
My question is How much wind needs to be blowing and from what direction at a givin hieght?
Is it 5mph?10-15-20mph?
Is it at 750ft-1000ft?
Does it matter which direction the wind is blowing in? N,S,E,W, or inbetween.
I'm sure its for debris control so it wont land on freeway or what othere items may be off property.
I just want to know their tolerances..... I'll be there tommorro getting ready for fridays RDCT.
thanks!

on my last trip...
I saw parts of it from the freeway. This year, it canceled due to wind and rain, and the one day that they had the entire fireworks show (they had started it one night and then cancelled about 5 minutes in), I had left the park early to go to see a band play in LA.
