Hi!
I have a simple question.
What I can see from POP Century if I climb to the top floor?
Is it possible to see Epcot fireworks or at least Spaceship Earth or the Tower of Terror from this resort?
If something is in view, which is the best building to see something?

We have stayed at the PC a couple of times. I don't recall the room numbers but we were staying on the 4th floor of the c bldg. in the 50's section and were able to not only see SE (see photo below) but the highlights of Illuminations (there is something uncanny about not hearing the explosions until 2-3 seconds after the fireworks).
Look to try get a room towards the outer edge (see the other picture)

Thank You for the pictures!
Just a question. The picture of SE is a 50mm (human eye) shot or have you used a zoom? Is Epcot really so close to POP?

Yes, I used the zoom (not all that much, 8X optical) on my digital when I took the shot.
The parking lot light poles you see at the bottom of the shot are from the Legendary years parking lot which is across the lake from where we were staying.
You can see SE okay without the need of binoculars and you can see Illuminations, but only the fireworks that go up over the tree line and even then you can't year the music and very few of the explosions. (now, at POFQ because of the trees we couldn't see a thing, but boy could we hear it - especially the holiday edition of Illuminations - or as we named it 'the end of the world').
As far as the value resorts goes, we like this one the best. As much as I liked facing SE the last time we stayed there, we had a room in the 50's bldg. facing the pool and it was enjoyable just to sit at the window in the evening watching everybody come and go after a long day of hitting the World.

here is another photo that may give a little bit better perspective.

Thank You again for your answer and for your new picture! :love2:

To have a lake and a view of SE (even if in the far distance) seems to add score to the Pop Century! I have not already decided between All Stars and POP, but probably I'll go with the POP! :goodvibes

When we stayed at POP in Jan/Feb, we had a wonderful view of Wishes and Illuminations. We were on the 4th floor, Building 2, the 50s section, Room #2441. We just loved the view!! I hope this helps you out!
