Fireworks after 11pm?

How can this be legal?

I was just awoken out of bed in fright thinking the world was coming to an end. I looked out my bedroom window at the building behind me and saw about 10 different people looking back at me in horror. Then I came up to my loft and saw the fireworks display.

Went to a local website where a bunch of others had signed on freaking out. Figure it must be the innauguration of that new RCCL ship.

It's scary though. We live so close to the WTC and it is not fun to wake up feeling like you are being bombed.

What the heck were they thinking running them so late!!! I hope you get some sleep after your adrenaline rush!!!

We live close to a few firework factories, so that sound is so normal to us. It does sound like bombing and sometimes it catches me off guard.

Welcome to my world. I can set my clocks by the sounds of WISHES every night. Fortunately most of the year it's run between 9:00 and 10:00pm. But like you, I've been woken up by late performances.
