Firewall and Connection Issues VMK not working

anyone else experiencing these today.

I am having a horrible time.

I have to reset my router and my modem and then I can only stay on for a limited time.





Help I have tired everything I know short of calling VMK direct!

I don't seem to be having this problem. I wonder why it's happening to you?

It won't even let me log on Mal. It just keeps going to white screen with "Internet Explorer cannot display web page." So you are actually getting further than i am. Plus i noticed vmk has only around 1k people in the game right now. So i think something is going on.

hmm.. I just logged off. I wonder if I'm going to have a problem getting back on after lunch?

I have not had any problems with it at all today. But when I was just on there I met up with a friend who said it took her more than three hours to finally log in!!

I got back on with no problem..

I wonder why this is happening to a few people and not everyone?

I didn't have any problems logging in today, but the vmk homepage wasn't showing anything... I was able to get to the newsletter using my computer's history, and that page was fine, but nothing shows up on the main page.

I didn't have any problems this morning but thought it was weird that only about 100 people were on. Mind you, it was only about 7:30am PST. Then I went and logged on around 11:30am and couldn't get on for a while. I kept trying though and eventually it worked. Something is definitely up today!

Well i did finally get on and played with lag for about two hours. But yesterday some of our pins were missing and now today we are having strange connection issues? Hmm.

I thought that our IT guy finally caught on to my obsession and blocked me with his new security program.

This is OT but speaking of cookies Aengus, my daughter (SwanSongAce on vmk) had the most fun on vmk last night she has ever had. You guys all trying to interrogate Captain Blackheart, Yeti, Esmerelda and then trapping the Gator Waiter to get him to tell you where Lily was last night. She was laughing almost the entire time.

I think that Dis Boards is doing some updating, it was down all morning yesterday and today while moving from one post to another I got a message the it was going to be closed for 10 minutes, so I am pretty sure there is some work being done.
