Fire pits?

Are people bringing those portable fire pits that are so popular these days to the Fort? I know that Disney's official policy is no open fires at the campsites, but wondering if these things are sliding by. Just curious.

They're not just sliding by -- they're actually legal! They must be totally enclosed with a screen and cover, like the one here in the picture.

The only time they cannot be used, is if there is a burning ban because of a drought. This happens frequently, so it's good to call beforehand, just to be sure.
