Just read that Disney will now be offering a new special dining experience for Fire of the Rising Moon. Anyone know anything about this and where/when you can book it. It doesn't appear to be on the website anywhere that I can see.

Thanks for that. Looks like they haven't released times etc yet and I guess thats because they haven't released the entertainment schedule yet for the holiday season. Man I wish they would do that, what is taking them so long. They must have all that locked in by now so why not just post it. I may have to make park/dining adjustments depending on what is on offer each night and by the time they release everything all the dining will be booked up. Disney really need to get their act together. They concentrate too much on Halloween and not on the season that closely follows. Absolutely hopeless.

I am also waiting for more information about this to come out. I've been checking daily since Disney Eats first shared the event on Instagram. Hopefully soon!

This is open now! I booked under Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering. On select nights they have the food rations plus the Fire of the Rising Moons viewing.

It says that the viewing area is the "Falcon Overlook." Is that a separate area?

I believe the Falcon Overlook is the small area with tables directly out the front of Docking Bay Seven where you have an elevated position looking out over the Falcon with the cliffs in the background, as this is where the fireworks explode over the top of.

I was contemplating this but it is very expensive and I don't think we would like any of the offerings. Also if the fireworks are cancelled there are no refunds. I think we will just wander into the area close to fireworks time and grab ourselves a free spot to watch them.

$89 for standing room only, full payment due at booking, no refunds for canceled show. I know it's all expensive these days, but that seems insane to me for not even a seat.
I totally agree. There are plenty of spots around the area where you can stand for free and enjoy the spectacle just as well. Not for me I'm afraid.

I did book a reservation for the 'dinner' component with the rations for my husband and I for early December. I agree I'm not too sure about the menu offerings, but I'll let you all know how the food is after we try it!

I cannot find the link to book this at all, not sure what I am missing? Can anyone post, please?

Same. I was contemplating it for our March trip but after reading all the stipulations....plus it didn't sound like a lot of food. We will just have to find our own spot when the time comes.

I found it on the Disneyland app, by searching Docking Bay 7. From there, it just lets you know that starting at 8pm select nights, you can make a booking for the food rations and fireworks viewing.

Thank you so much, I didn’t even think of that! Thanks again.

This is just another upcharge with terrible value like the world of color dessert party. At least the fantasmic dining packages provide you with a bigger meal and a seat for the show (and many of those are cheaper than this one and contain much better value). The problem with this and world of color is that neither are even a full meal, this sounds like two apps and two desserts. If this was a full course dinner with seating for the fireworks then it would live up to the price tag; I still wouldn’t buy it but at least it would have some value. As it stands now this and World of Color seem silly for something you can just roll up to and easily get a good spot for free by being a little early without much effort.

I agree, however, there are many people on this forum who will pay a premium to have a reserved chair for a parade or show. Maybe it is a WDW thing that is starting to carry over to DLR.

This package is standing only, so we'll have to see how it goes.
