We did this show on Fri, 11/29. I personally really like the food at Docking Bay 7, with the Felucian Garden dish being one of my park favorites. People's intuition on this experience are correct. I really can't recommend it, but I won't complain as I like to try things myself at least once. They provide the bento box as shown. Someone added a picture, so look at that for reference. Overall, it's a strange combination of food. The meatballs were ok. They are filled with melted cheese, and I think you're supposed to dip them in what appears to be thousand island (center). One corner contains cheddar and mozzarella cheese cubes covered in some kind of red powder. Just to the side of the cubes is the goat cheese which I found to be the tastiest portion of the meal. You can eat that with the pita chips. Another corner contained pink yogurt. That was pretty, but very bizarre. I didn't see how that complemented anything else in the box. It had some popping pearls that tasted like roses to me, so I did like that. Dessert consisted of the cream puffs. I didn't like the one that was supposedly blue milk. The other one just had a cheap chocolate flavor. I had zero interest in the novelty cup, and I found the drink undrinkable. They did provide water and soft drinks with alcohol at extra cost. I had a few bites of everything but left the majority of the food uneaten.
Going in, I knew from the food descriptions not to count on that being dinner, so we made sure to eat beforehand. The viewing area was nice, but wholly unnecessary. I think the viewing would have been just as nice standing in front of the Falcon. The show started with a droid that I thought would have more of a presence, but it just made a little speech before the fireworks. I really enjoyed the music, and it complemented the fireworks nicely. For the price, I really don't see this being a long-lived experience once word gets out that it's not at all good. They really need to fix the food.
