Fire Dragon or Ice Dragon?

We may only have time to ride once, and I want to be sure we pick the best side. Is one side better than the other? Or should we go for the shortest line??

Depends what you prefer on the coasters...I prefer Fire because it seems to be more intense, but I think Ice is pretty great too (though prefer the drops more than turns)

It depends on what you like -- Fire is a wilder ride, Ice is smoother.

You'll just have to try them both. If you go right back to the Dragons when the park opens, there's no one there. You'll be able to ride the front row of each dragon over and over. I usually do that and I can't decide which side I prefer. I just love whichever I'm on at the time!!

Last year we were there on a Saturday and it was extremely packed (over 2 hr wait for Spiderman), we only had to wait about 10 mins for front seat of both dragons. Riding in the other seats was hardly any wait at all. I thought they were both great but definitely worth the wait for the front seat to get the full effect.

I didn't get to ride this last time we were at IOA, but I will definitely be doing it this time around!! Both sides!! LOL

I like the backseat of Fire (to feel the G forces) and the very front seat of Ice (so it seems like you're going to hit the building). If it isn't too busy go for the front of ice first and then head for the back of fire.

Ice has the zero G roll. Fire is a tad bit faster....both are relativly smooth, but if youwant the smoother ride outta the two...go with ice. I prefer FIre though, cause of the intense positive G's
