without ANY heart palpations!!! The dr. was right!!! ATkins does not cause palpations!! I haven't had a palpatition in one week and am feeling great!!

The scale hasn't shown any weight loss, well, maybe minimal (2-3 lbs) over the past few weeks.............but it is not a very reliable one at that.

My stomach seems to be less bloaty and since that time of the month fell towards the end of my 2 week induction I am contributing that to the minimal weight loss.

Overall I feel good and I feel strong about staying on Atkins this time and making my goal!!!

Dh is doing great on it too.................

Again, thanks to all of you for the inspiration..........it surely helps!!

I'm glad you didn't have any palpitations. I haven't had any either since starting Atkins.

Can someone tell me what induction is? I do not have the Atkins book. I have the SBD book and I would like to know the difference between the induction phase and Phase I of the SBD.
