I was actually pleasantly surprised by this show. It was incredible. I was really shocked at how well done it was for it to be in a Disney park! I love it it's fun and inviting I think it's something you shouldn't miss out on though I can see others feel differently. The show is actually 36 minutes long..hehe...:thumbsup2

Okay I hope I don't get flamed for this......:sad2:

I went September 18th and they have conflicting messages one saying do not use flash photography or video camera lighting and the other message say no photos or filming at all...so I took a risk and filmed the entire thing (w/out lights of course) no one cared :confused3 ...I posted it on Youtube..If you're interested I'm not sure if you can post links but go to Youtube and in search type in Finding Nemo RandomJazzy

(NO QUOTES) there are 6 parts the entire thing!

I figured if anyone is unsure about going than can check that out and decide! I personally love it  corny songs and all!

How's the weather up in Mass today? I can go to Disney anytime I want, I'm an hour and a half away and I have Annual Passes. I think I might go right now and ride Everest and eat something from the Food and Wine Festival.

I stand by my last post.:rolleyes1

Yes, it is official. I've surveyed everyone.

Okaay.

You can tape it (as long as there is no external lights on). The recording says you can't, but when I was there CMs were going around saying you could.

LOL the OP sounds like my husband. He hated it too. Then when I went to see it a third time because I really enjoy it, he liked it better (his second time).

I do really not appreciate it when the live shows just "do the movie" either, but the Finding Nemo show has an original score, and that makes me forgive them for it. It's actually a great original score! I bought the CD!

Y'all should stop being SO nasty to the OP by the way, it's totally ok to hate the Finding Nemo Show and still love Disney. Really, it is. Some of you should be ashamed for the way you've spoken to the OP, if I was a mod I'd be sending some of you warnings.

I hate Country Bears, by the way. I can't believe it's still open. They'd do better to put some more counters for Pecos Bills in there. That's not a "troll" that's the way I feel. LOL

Anyone know the show times for it?--do they go into the evening, or for EMH? Thanks! :goodvibes

I believe the last show is 4:45. And they do not do a show for EMH.

Thanks! So some have been able to get in line just a few minutes before and get a seat? I guess we could plan to see the parade and still get to the show?

That might be cutting it close. It might be easier to go to an earlier show.

I really liked the Finding Nemo Musical. I was there on the 27 of Sept. I made a special trip to AK, just to see that and the Lion King. I got there around 10 or so, walked right in to the Lion King, after it was over I stopped and got and ice cream and walked over to the Nemo show. Saw that and walked on to the Dinosour ride, then left and went to MK. I did not wait inline and I was seated in the back, but that was fine with me. I don't think there are any really bad seats.

My daughter is 5 and has asthma. Her doctor said that if any of the shows has smoke in them we have to sit in the very back. Does Nemo or Lion King have any theatrical smoke during the show? I hate that we would have to be in the very back.

Thanks!

No one is really being that nasty, besides the OP's silly, generalized comment about "most straight men" not liking musicials, making it sound like those who do like them and are straight are strange, no comments have been that bad. The OP is just making crazy comments now about surveying everyone, blah blah...who cares, one less person in line if you ask me. I think the main thing is who goes into a Disney musical not thinking it is going to be extrmely similar to the movie it represents? Kind of common sense to me. Ive never seen the show, could care less if people dont like it, just thought the comment was odd considering all of Disney's movie rides and musicals are actually based on the movies in their titles.

I love almost everything about Disney and The Festival of the Lion King is one of my absolute favorites. But I have to agree that Nemo The Musical was about 20 minutes too long for my tastes. It's well done but now that I've seen it twice, I probably won't need to see it again for a long time. I'm thinking that I might have enjoyed it more if there was actually music in the original movie.

Nemo does not have any. There is fire in FOTLK, but I don't think there is any smoke.

OP, I'm sorry you didn't like it. We loved it! My DD watches it every day because I taped it and we sing the songs. Hopefully I'll be so sick of it by our next trip that I won't want to take the time out to see it again and will see Festival of the Lion King instead. It may not happen though because I still love it and I can't believe it was free (well, included in the park price anyway). I know the kids are going to want to see it again.

we're seeing it for the first time in April. So does everyone agree that being up front is the best? Or would center seats, maybe in the middle of the theatre be better?

The seats in the first couple of rows are a bit "below" the stage floor, so if you are short (kids, in particular) you might be blocked from things that happen "up-stage" (deeper into the stage area.)

There are also stage extensions/walkways that reach into the house (same as in the former Tarzan Rocks theater arrangement.)

Being seated near those is fun as the characters roam into the house on these walkways during parts of the show.

If you want an OVER-ALL view, be seated up in the house a bit farther than the extended walkways.

Lots of different kinds of seating locations in the house each offering a bit different show experience.

Does anyone know where any Nemo!Musical obsessees have posted Lyrics or a script to the show, mebbe?

The cast album is available for a preview and (legal) download at the iTunes Store.

The whole Finding Nemo: The Musical album from iTunes is $9.99 or individual songs are 99 cents each.
