Finding Nebo, Yes THAT Nebo, not the fish!

Dang, now I want a cheeseburger! Well, actually, a BK Whpper Jr with fries.

Funny story, so glad you are here.

Now, what the heck am I going to eat???? I am driving tonight!

OH! so THAT'S what happened to my double cheeseburger!:rotfl:
(hey, this is the first time talking to Nebo for me in 2 days!) how are ya, honey? ok, I admit, we had a few hours today I COULD have spent with him, but Todd (#1 son, living with us) got to have jackson(grandson) on sat. instead of sun!!! YAY! (I work sun, 10-8) so I didn't have to be at work till 4 today, so I SELFISHLY played with my grandson ALL DAY!!!:woohoo: ... HE'S SOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!
ok, Nebo is SOOO cute, too. and Nebo doesn't "wipe off" my kisses. (that I know of) Jackson always does!. he can't pronounce "smidgy", so he calls me "grandma mishy".
and, nebo, you ARE a silly goose! :lmao: great poem. thanks for the laughs!

Oh my Heck!! Steve, that was a great story!
I'm sitting in bed with my lap top, and I was laughing so hard but trying not to make any noise, so I don't wake up the dh...............well I ended up shaking the bed and making a high pitched hyena like sound..........he woke up!
Thanks for the laugh!:lmao:

Good one, Steve!

Happy to see you're making people laugh IRL, too!

Grandma Mishy....

Remember that commercial where the husband was driving home from Mc Donalds and ate an entire box of fries and then blamed it on Mc Donalds?

I think that's what happened here.

Or it was the moose.

omigosh! I used to have so much fun in the D.T. (didn't get to do it much as a manager though) but yea usually our more "mature" customers would actually ask for it to go....
me : "Hi, welcome to McDonald's may I take your order?"
them : "yes, this will be to go, I'd like a big mac, large order of fries, apple pie, fudge sundae, and a small diet coke." (cause that'll offset all the other stuff)
me : "okay does the order appear correct on the screen?"
them : "yes"
me : "You said this was to go, correct?"
them : "yes, please"

once in a while they would catch themselves but most of the time they just really wanted it to go, yea good times, good times

At my house we call wiping kisses off "rubbing them in" so they stick REALLY good! :)

And I also love grandma mishy. When babies use my real name they call me mishy too. :)

I'm 2 hours behind you!

um, so what's MY excuse?:rotfl:

wait, so when it says 11:18 on your post time, is it really 9:18? I'm SO confused!!!! (wait'll nebo reads this, I'll NEVER hear the end of it!!!!) monica, you KNOW we HATE technology... help!

I always hate the whole TIME change thing. nebo laughs. "so what time is it in Illinois now? what time is it HERE? (and where IS here anyway?) why is it getting darker earlier in GA on the Feb. trip than on the May trip? I don't get it. ah, I'm SO glad I can be "fodder" for his amusement.

strangely enough, I LOVE any book or movie about time travel (butterfly effect, back to the future, time cop, disasters in time, etc.) I love the conundrums (what if you go back in time and kill your grandfather?)

my grandpa was a minister. now, I could "kinda" get eternity as far as no ending. but... no beginning??? just couldn't wrap my mind around that.
somewhere in my teens and college years(you know, exploring philosopies, reading, cs lewis and arthur c. clarke, and others), I read somewhere (and this was a "light bulb" moment) "what if TIME was a CREATED thing?" worked for me!

but, I digress. (computers and me late at night are a dangerous thing):lmao:

Hey Smidgy:If you haven't caught the movie yet, might I suggest Michael Critchton's Timeline. I read it a few times and loved it.

Diane! I love time travel stories too!

You MUST read The Time Traveler's Wife. It's a fabulous story and very well written. It's really a love story too. AND it takes place in Chicago.

:thumbsup2

yes, I read Timeline. I also have a compilation book, The best Time Travel stories of the 20th century.(it includes, Ray Bradbury's Sound of Thunder, which was made into a movie)

melinda! both my sister and my Friday customer LOVED Time Traveller's Wife. I even borrowed it, but gave it back after I had it for so long and never got to it. that's it. gotta get to the library.

um, how did you guys "underline"?

Any news on the new princess? Will there be an induction tomorrow?
I know, I need to get a life!;)

OOhhh! I'm back in time for a pending grandbaby! :woohoo:

Sorry I've been MIA. Still no job, how about you Neebs?

My older puppy (our big dog Mika) finally succumbed to her cancer, thankfully it was after we went to the beach with her. She really loved the beach~
