Finding an Alaska cruise

It’s sounding like I actually should probably skip a travel agent and price out each individual cruise myself. The reason I’m not just picking a date is because I’m looking at room availability and proximity too. If a travel agent can’t help with that, then I’m not entirely sure wi need the agent for.

I sent an email last night so I’ll see what the agent says or if I should try to figure it out myself.
Certainly an option. But with a group I think you would want a Travel Agent so you don't make any mistakes.

It may be a little difficult to find the kind of cabins you want because Alaska 2023 cruises came out over a year ago. 2024 are on sale now, since the season is so short people often book as soon as the cruises are announced. May and June will be cheaper than July. The cruises at the end of the season will also be cheaper. We went in early June 2014 with extened family and had a wonderful time. We're going again next June, but are going on NCL. We've done a lot of DCL cruises so the "Disney Magic" isn't important to us this time. The Wonder is a great ship and you'll have a wonderful cruise.

Update: I emailed an agent last night, and she came back with some good options (all things considered). It looks like we'll end up in an accessible verandah cabin on 6 and 2 connecting oceanview rooms on 2. She's been lovely to work with and I hope to have it booked by tomorrow.

Yeah, no kidding. Thats part of what was so tricky--there's so little left I had to keep trying combo after combo. It looks like we're going to make it work though so its all good!
