Finding 2-gallon ziploc bags?

Is there such a size? Maybe I've never looked closely enough at my grocery store shelves. Some people suggest using this size bag to pack clothes in. Anyone know where to find this item?

Target has ziplock brand and the grocery store Albertsons has their own brand of 2 gallon ziplockers. Good luck- I used these on our recent Europe trip and they were wonderful- I will never pack again without them.

I bought mine at Shoprite in NJ which carries the 2 gallon in their own brand. They were very inexpensive and very sturdy.

I've noticed here that Wal-mart doesn't carry them, but Kroger does.

This size is not easy to find. Both my girls had them on the required list of 2nd grade supplies, and I had to have my sister out in the country get some at her store. Now they are at Target.

I found 2 & 1/2 gallon hefty bags at Target and Genaurdi's ( Safeway) and 2 gallon ziploc bags at Genuardi's

Found them at Wal-Mart but not at the time I needed them , not a regular stock item, so when they did have them I bought them and put them in the suitcase for next time.

They're great if you are taking along your own drinks. We use them to pack DH's 6 pack cans. We do double the baggies just as an extra safety precaution. So far no problems.

You can squeeze the air out of the bags filled with clothes and they take up very little space- spacesaver bags. They work great and if your bags do get searched you don't have a huge mess. When we flew out of Charles de Gaulle-
I actually did pack daily outfits in each bag- very organized. My DD and I packed in the same suitcase without having all our clothes mixed together. Loved them

I have 3 kids and it make life so much better on vacation. I can put a complete outfit in one bag. I never hear "Mom where is the shirt that goes with these shorts." Each person grabs a bag and off to the shower. I even pack DH and mine this way. Plus I pack shampoo and everything else in these bags just in case something comes open.

Looked at several stores before finding them. I think it was at Wal-Mart or Publix but we had looked at several other stores of the same company before we found them. They do make bags specifically to pack clothes in though I'm sure they're a lot more expensive, I think I've seen them at Wal Mart as well. You could also look at the Foodsaver type bags.
