It's WOOHOO WEDNESDAY!

On Wednesdays we take a break to celebrate the things that make us happy.
No celebration is too big or too small - and can be about anything at all!

What are you celebrating today?

No celebration is too big or too small - and can be about anything at all!

What are you celebrating today?

I can answer this one! I have a couple - first of all my WooHoo Wednesday is that I just joined this group last week and I love it! Everyone is so supportive and helpful!

Secondly, I started tracking in MyFitnessPal last Wednesday, so today was my first official weigh-in and I lost 5 pounds! I know the first week is usually a good one, but I didn't know if I would see a big loss because the one thing I was doing right before I started tracking was drinking my water. I always thought part of the reason that the first week loss was so good was because I always kicked up my water intake closer to what it actually should be. Anyway, for whatever reason, I'll take it! Granted, I have a LONG way to go, but at least I have a start!

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's WooHoo Wednesday celebrations too!!

For the first time in what seems like a month the scale didn't go up on a Wednesday! I guess that's a good thing. I've also been pain free for the last few days - had some achilles issues and talked to our athletic trainer, ever since I've been doing the stretches I've been good. Now I need to move back up the leaderboard on my fitbit. I was down to 7th place and it was driving me nuts!!! Today's goal is 20,000!

Personal Training was intense yesterday - but I woke up this morning not feeling too sore. While I am not visually seeing my progress, I am feeling it in every muscle through activities. The reps the trainer has me doing are getting a little easier. I'm seeing more flexibility. My legs aren't sore when I run and it's mostly my lung capacity that is fizzling out than my legs.

The 6 mile run this week has given me confidence for the half marathon this weekend. I am confident that I can make 3:30 -- or die trying :)

WooHoo Wednesday!

Also grateful I found this group!

We're having a couple days of beautiful weather, which is always a treat for mid-winter in the great PNW... it is usually a pretty damp and grey this time of year.

I bought my May airfare to WDW yesterday and got a really good deal: I feel like anytime I can get under $400 I've won a prize. I'm even going to remember to get my flights to ME in time to utilize baggage delivery.

I'm grateful for feeling better and for the weight I've removed from my body up to this point... so much more ease of movement and higher energy. It is looking like this might be my first 0 week, but I'm OK with that (altho impatient to be so close to one-derland). I had a huge week last week, so was expecting a small week, then decided to discontinue the elimination diet because I was actually feeling worst, so I knew that was going to be shift for my body.

What are you celebrating today?

I will woohoo that I am back on track today with eating and exercise! After about two weeks of just plain not caring. I will also woohoo that Fuller House premieres this weekend on Netflix, can you say binge! My sister and I just planned a weekend for her to come and stay with me, I'm very happy because she has serious mental health issues and it'll be nice to take her away from a stressful environment and I can be like mother hen with her and show her a good time!

YOU GUYS GET IN HERE WITH SOME HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

My woohoo is I may have met someone which is pretty exciting even if it fizzles putting myself out there hasn't crashed and burned so I'll take it haha. I finally clicked with a new friend as well which has been great.

I got back on track with my intake as well which was so needed, and back into the swing of things with my 10k. I feel refreshed, recharged, and ready to crush this half on sunday!

SO many great WOOHOOs here today!! So happy to see that MANY of you are celebrating LIFE and NSVs.... not just weight loss!

My woohoo..... I FINALLY got myself a Fitbit!! Found a great deal on an open-but-never-used one PLUS a bunch of extra bracelets for it! DD helped me set it up and I'm off and running (so to speak)!

Taking today to spend at my scrapbook table... something I haven't done in AGES! BB tomorrow to chat!...............P

Oh I have another one! My friend yelled at me after I said I was feeling fat and went into a five min rant about how my work pants are falling off of me. So the scale might not be changing huge amounts, but my body is. I'll take inches over pounds any day.

I'm very party: today

Well, it all went downhill after my weekend crap. LOL I was sick, I worked a few days and now I'm trying to get ready for leaving Saturday. So that's my woo hoo! I'm leaving Saturday for San Francisco for five days. And this week is my final week of the eight week program that I have survived, even if I didn't have the energy to post here .....woohoo! Sadly I do not think I've lost any weight, I will weigh myself on Friday morning. But I can say I've lost a few inches of my clothes are loosening up noticeably finally. It's so frustrating when results go so slowly, but I need to make a pact here to get back on the program as soon as I get home, and not my usual two weeks after vacation mode.

Sorry I've been MIA, I've really missed out

For those who watch, what did you think of the biggest loser finale?

Oh no... the FitBit obsession is about to start!

Love seeing so many woohoos today! I've got two:

Scale Woohoo-- I'm down this week so far (knock on wood!)-- I was up last week but now I'm a pound less than the week before.... Let's keep this going!!!

Non Scale Woohoo: I'm getting a keratin treatment this weekend. My frizz and the FL humidity do not cooperate! My cousin has a salon and she worked a deal with me otherwise I could never convince DH to spend so much $$$ on my hair LOL! I'm so excited to have sleek hair without an hour or blow drying and straightening! Another thing I am thinking is that this may have a positive influence on me working out-- I hate sweating profusely because I hate washing my hair. It's such an ordeal... maybe this will help! :rotfl:

My WOOHOO-

Ordered a new stove today, hate to get rid of my old one but the door no longer shuts quite right and it gets hot in the kitchen, need to use the convection to keep it at reg time and temp. DH cant wait for the rapid boil features, bigger burner, ...more neat features. He loves all tech.

I also booked myself and 2 DS for a quick trip to WDW for a few days next week. I am unsure if we'll do 3 or 4 nights but we want to see the F&G and the lights, motor, action one more time, star wars fireworks aren't to bad either. All 4 of us are going in May but we spend a lot more time in the pool and resort when we are at BC.

And the scale is down .5, now lets see if I can get that to stick!

I would like to add to my woohoo - I was able to meet my goal that I set this morning of 20,000 steps!

The only problem was I met the goal around 3:00, and it left me too much time, so I pounded out another 10,000 and hit my first 30,000 day ever!

Bar exam DONE!!!! May I never take another one because this was a b*****. Way worse than when I did this the first time 15 years ago.

24 minutes to Fast Pass Plus time!!! So tired. I just want to go to bed but reservations are more important!

@DisPup75 congratulations for getting that exam done! I know that I would never want to sit another law exam ever again - especially not now since law school was so many years ago! I admire your dedication to get it done!

----

I absolutely forgot to come back on yesterday and post my woohoo: I stayed within my calorie goal and managed to do my scheduled 30 minute run! I am well on track to make this month a very successful running month!

@DisPup75 I'm on the iPad and can't quote you directly. But I wanted to congratulate you on the hard work with the exam!! Please share with us your results when received. :)

Thanks you @courtneybeth and @Flossbolna. I won't have official results until May but I will share when I do! I'm just happy to have it and FP+ selection behind me. I was in tears last night I was so frustrated with FP, website problems, and an unhappy phone CM who gave some very bad advice. Almost cancelled the whole trip and changed the plane tickets to California and my much loved Disneyland. But must see topiaries! And ride the TTA!

I'm really looking forward to getting back to working on *me* next week. Definitely going to start behaving myself more immediately (three cheers for a healthy breakfast) but not starting counting points or steps again until the 1st. I'd rather face the entirety of scale damage after the quick trip to New York than before.
