OK, there seems to be a lot of interest in what exactly is in the $150 savings booklet (mastercard or the voucher you present at check-in if staying at one of the on-site resorts). No one can ever seem to find the list. I posted once, but was missing more than the 4 coupons I thought I was. I finally found my missing coupons, so here are the coupons ALL IN ONE PLACE!

(Also, the coupons are small and perforated, so they are easy to carry around.)

Is there an expiry date on the coupons? We are seriously considering buying the $86 tix and paying with a mastercard to get the coupon booklet but won't be using the tickets until 2008 or 2009. Just wondering if the coupons would still be valid?

One more quick question: does anyone know if I have to use a US mastercard in order to get the coupon booklet or would a canadian mastercard be ok?

canadian mc is acceptable as well as the USA mc.

Good point. Mac is right on the expiry date. I will add that info to the first post.

ETA: I just checked the coupons, and it would appear that they do not want to honor them on NYE. The expiry is 12/30. Hmmphh.

I read somewhere else that anyone staying at a Universal hotel gets this book upon check in, regardless of whether you use Mastercard or not.

Not necessarily. I received a voucher from Universal from some planning kit they once sent me, which I had to present at check-in to receive the coupon booklet. The voucher said it was good till supplies lasted. So, you could ask for a booklet, but if the hotel is out of them, you're out of luck. I'm sure they would probably give you a booklet without a voucher as long as they had some available, but if you're asking if they just hand it to you upon check-in, that answer is no.

there are different ways to get the coupon booklet.

if you bought tickets on line in march and april, you were issued the entitlement for the coupon.

if you did the survey in the park and were given the card for the free survey.

i forgot how i got my entitlement......it's on the tip of my tongue.
i think i did a survey for universal on line back in may.

i know there is another way people received the coupon book but it escapes me at the present time.



the coupons this year are not as good as years past.
i will pick mine up but won't need it.

i'll pass it on to anyone that wants it once i return back home on columbus day night..

i have the AAA, universal mc, AP for the discounts.
none of the coupons for free kids meal interest me as i don't plan on having any littles with me on my trip.

I was just about to buy my tickets using my Visa Check card and saw the savings booklet info. I did a search here and found this thread...great info.

Just the free kid's meals and the free drinks at Pat's and NBA City will be worth the hassle of picking up the free book....will save us about $30 just for using a different credit card.

I bought my tickets with a Mastercard, then immediately went online with my bank and paid the card off with the cash I was going to use.
