Finally! We're owners and bamboozled our kids in the process!

We finally got our act together (thank you Covid) and after delays, pandemic and other fun stuff we did it!! We had to lie to our adult daughters. They thought once our dreams when up in smoke with the pandemic that we'd never get the chance to purchase. So DH and I kept in contact with our guide. The stars aligned, and we took the plunge. So we had to tell the girls but I like to make things "special". DH and I told the girls they had to come over and sign some documents for our will. I had made up "owner" certificates for each of them. Had some fake papers for them to sign, and I put the certificates in a large envelope. They were sorta upset about the thought of a will and that made them emotional. But when they opened the envelope!!! The eldest started crying, and the youngest sat there in total shock. (lucky for me I filmed them!!) a great priceless moment. (we have to wait for our welcome home trip until 2022 since eldest DD is pregnant with first grandchild!) can't wait for our first trip to our home resort ---Old Key West!
