Finally! We have a sitter!!!!!!!!

DH and I have been trying to go out to dinner and a movie without the kids for 4 months now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have made arrangements several times but we have yet to actually make it out of the house. But, tonight(hopefully) is going to be different. We have a sitter, who actually called this morning to verify times and to tell me she was looking forward to playing with the kids. She has never stayed with our kids before, but did have 2 of them in her music class at VBS a couple of weeks ago at church. The kids are really excited that she is coming. So, please say a little prayer that we get to go out tonight!!!!!!!Tomorrow is our 17th wedding anniversary and we need a night to celebrate!

Oh, and if you guys see Oddball here on the DIS, make sure she is behaving!

I am sure [COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR] will be no trouble at all. And good for you too.....you deserve a night out with DH. I know how hard it is to find a trustworthy sitter too. My boys are 1.5 and 5 and finding time away from them is hard!

That's so great! Happy Anniversary!! We just moved here and haven't found a sitter yet either, it's tough. We thought we found one, but then she went and got a job at Dairy Queen, darn it! I did find a local place that has Parents Night Out, big indoor gym and rock climbing, good for the kids, but I have to wait until Aug. 14th for the next one. I hope you guys have a great time!

I thought Oddball was like 15 years old She still needs a sitter? Or are there younger siblings too?

I will be 15 in September, and I AM a big girl LoL, I CAN take care of myself........I just can't handle a little brother and a little sister!!!

I haven't had a sitter since I was 10....and then I stayed with my grandmother, I could've stayed home by myself.
