Finally took the "plunge"!

Thanks in part to the very nice comments from some of you here, combined with my love of photography, I finally took the plunge and got a DSLr! I'm so excited as it came in last week and I've been able to play around with it a little. What I'm really excited about is enrolling in some photography classes at a local college...I'm hoping to learn a lot!!! Thanks to everyone here for being so kind and encouraging! I hope that I will have lots of great shots to share with the rest of you awesome photogs here!

Photography is the gift that keeps giving as you will soon find out when you dive deeper into it. After you master the basics there are all sorts of things to keep you going like learning how to use software for post processing, lighting techniques including using a flash in ways that you never imagined and various lenses and other equipment that will keep your creative juices flowing.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I actually purchased mine from Dell. I ordered a "bundle" that included an extra lens, so I was able to get both the 18-55 mm lens and the 55-250 mm one. Hope that helps!
