Finally staying at Beach Club!

We own 3 contracts at Saratoga Springs and by going at slower times of the year have had great luck trying out the other resorts. We follow the advice of booking our home resort at 11 months and then trying to change. Yesterday I got a look at President's Week airfare from Southwest. We had reservations at Old Key West. When we saw the prices, I checked out the week prior to President's Week and airfare was about half as much and I could use a Rapids Reward credit to fly free! Talked to DD about missing a second week of school (she's missing a week in December already) and she felt fine about it since she has all different classes her second semester. So I told DH to call and see what (if anything) was available this close to the trip time. Beach Club was at the top of the list just because we've never stayed there. We now have a reservation for the Beach Club checking in on Sunday February 8th and checking out on Saturday February 14th. Now we just need to hope for warm enough weather for DD and I to try out Stormalong Bay - which is our main reason for wanting to stay at the Beach Club. DH is excited because what he liked best about Boardwalk was being able to walk to Epcot his favorite park! So glad I decided to take the chance and make a phone call!

Congrats on getting the Beach Club! It should be warm enough to swim, if you are not super cold blooded like me. I was there the weekend of the 8th last year and it was in the 70s. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Noticed you'll be at Old key West for Labor Day - we'll be arriving there this Sunday and leaving the Friday before Labor Day. Our first stay there and we are really looking forward to that one too.

We just tired to get Southwest tickets today for Feb. vacation and they were about $600 each! We ended up with Delta at $350. We're excited to have finally gotten into BCV after years of trying for school vacation week. I can't wait for the pool too! We're also from NH so anything in Fl has to be warmer than up here!
