Finally...some Pixie Dust!!!

You know the expression, "when it rains, it pours?" Well, we've had our share of pouring around here lately. I'm not going to get into it all online (job issues, death of a close family member, and some other unbelievable issues), but we've had a rough year.

I think things are finally turning around. It's starting to look like we will actually keep our SSR trip as planned in October. And today I realized that our waitlist came through on my DD12's surprise 13th birthday trip in March. The waitlist reservation saves us 15 points!! Yeah!!!

Isn't it sometimes the little things in life that bring so much joy?! 15 points and I'm over the moon with gratitude.

Congrats...sometimes it's just those little triumphs that can make your whole week. Today for example, I re-checked the rental car prices for our trip to Colorado in October and rebooked the same times, class of car, and everything else for $60 less than our original reservation. I can think of lots to do with that $60 on our trip to the Rockies!

It doesn't take a hurricane to cause a change in the weather...a simple breeze can do it!
