I finally got the call today stating Disney was waiving it RORF on my add on purchase for 90 points.

It was submitted on June 25 to Disney, however, they mis-placed my documents . Thanks to the constant followup from Jerry at the Timeshare Store, he was able to get the approval.

Congratulations and Welcome Home! I can't imagine having to wait that long. I'd be bald from pulling my hair out.

Please educate the newest DVC member....what is a RORF? (I know what an ROUS is...but a RORF?)

When a buyer make an offer on a resale and it is accepted by the seller, it then goes to Disney for there option to buy back. Disney has the right to either buy back the property from the Seller or waive there right for it to go through. So, as for the seller they will get there money either way, but the buyer is can out of luck if Disney decides to purchase the timeshare back. Disney does this to protect the integrety of the sale so that nothing is purchased under value. Or at least this is what I think, I am sure someone else might have a better explanation.

Thanks Mickey...Right of First Refusal, then? Okay. That explains a lot. A lot more than ROUSs at least.

THanks!
