You can't have it both ways. Either the detainees are victims of the Bush administration, or they are enemy combatants engage in a war against the United States. I didn't specify which liberals. Perhaps you are one that would like to take a detainee home with you.

It should be closed or turned into a different facility. The detainees need to be processed through a judicial system. They were detained by us and need to be provided the rights that our constitution provides, charged and prosecuted or they need to be released.

dont make it personal....I love my country just like you...I enjoy our back and forth, I hope we can keep it civil....in all fairness I may have stepped over a few times in the past. But i think we both love our country and sail on the same ship, just see things different

Who has ever said that???.....the bush administration was the first group to introduce the "enemy combatant" designation...which they said exempted them from the geneva convention

I dont think soldiers in WWII had to "gather" evidence!....I think the ignorance of the geneva convention was a mistake
