Bah, the condo owner won't hold the condo for me and the tickets aren't guaranteed. I don't like the way this sounds. I did even more digging on VRBO and found one of these lovely town homes for under $450 for the week in Kissimmee.

So, you're going to IoA?? I'm not a big potter fan, but know you'll have a great time! And one day at each park will be great fun! Plan your touring strategy well, and you'll do fine.

Mia birthday is at the end of the month and I just bought her a Duffy Bear from Ebay for $25. I don't know if I totally over paid however, he is wearing a super cute white 2011 hoodie that is only available for a limited time.

I know Yuki really loves her Duffy and I thought it would be nice for Mia to bring on the trip.

I also didn't realize until recently that his face is a hidden mickey. These bears are so neat. I might have to get myself one at the parks.

I've started reading Lurkyloo's TR to Tokyo, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea Tokyo, then her Disney Wedding TR. Her TRs are highly entertaining, well written and are loaded with great photos.

This got me thinking, my DBF are going to get married sooner than later, we're basically engaged I just don't have a ring yet. We've been together for almost 8 years, since high school. I have a gut feeling this will be the year he finally asks me offically. So I thought, "heh it wouldn't hurt to price a Disney wedding right......right."

WRONG! I have been smitten. Smitten by the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding.

The Disney Escape Wedding is exactly what I've always wanted. Something small and intimate with the people I care about the most. I don't want a huge fancy pants wedding anyways and it's actually affordable. I don't need to ride in cinderella's coach with a major domo or some huge ballroom reception.

Imagine if you will, 18 of my closest family and friends, gathered at the Gazebo at the Yacht Club for the ceremony, Then on to a small Lunch reception at Beaches and Cream (Because my DBF and I really love a good hamburger and a sundea) and spending the evening at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ending the day with HalloWishes.

I mentioned it to Steve and he LOVED the idea as much as I did. Then he laughed when I said "Not that I'm really planning or anything but I already thought of the 18 people"

I wanted to share this idea with you guys because being a Disneyholic like myself I'm sure you would appreciate it.

A Disney Wedding sounds spectacular. I've always wanted one myself. The packages are great and you know everything will be taken care of because it's Disney for goodness sakes! It sounds like Steve is willing! Good luck with that, because that would be totally awesome

I always had my heart set on one and wish I had just done it years ago. I flip flop everyday on whether or not to do it. Your plans sound really great for it. I lurk the wedding board as well and have learned a few tips. The main one for you is that since you are interesed in the Escape wedding, you can add up to 5 more people for an additional fee, just in case you need the little bit of wiggle room for guests. Since you'll have Steve with you on your trip, you guys should stop into Francks and take a look around. It truely doesn't hurt to look.

Funny you say that, I told my family about my idea, My mom totally ran with it. She said the same thing. Steve more important thought the idea was awesome!

Mia's Duffy came in on friday, I've not been feeling well/been busy and haven't been able to post. It is even more adorable in real life. I now have to get one for myself. I promise to post pics when I give it to her.

We have a book that we bought in Disney with Duffy in it. I didn't see any stuffed Duffy's while we were there in December though. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right places.

Wow, a Disney wedding. I know I will FOR SURE be having a huge wedding. All my family friends will want to come. Chinese weddings tend to be pretty big in general. I already know I want it Disney themed. I can't have a wedding at DisneyWorld, so I'll bring the Disney to me!

It's so great that Steve likes the idea!

I know a few months back they had a HUGE display of Duffy bears at one of the Epcot stores. The name escapes me but it's the store you find right as soon as you enter World Showcase, its on the left hand side. And I could've sworn I've seen some at Once Upon a Toy.

You should order Lurky Loo's eBook, its just 8 bucks (I think) and I hear its packed with lots of info on the Disney weddings. It'll be a good thing for you and Steve to read thru. He's such a keeper for getting excited about a Disney wedding.

Ok my faithful readers, you've stuck with me thus far through all ups and downs on this rollercoaster of a trip. Things have changed again.

Firstly, my Grandma can been having trouble with cataracts in both eyes for the last year. They haven't really been bothering her until recently, so she had surgery on the first eye last Wednesday and will have the other eye done soon. The day after her surgery she went to the eye doctor for a follow up and they found that she has a hole in her retina, and will now have to have laser eye surgery to correct it. The good thing is that she can see with 20/20 vision in the eye without the cataract. Since she has been having a lot of problems with the eyes and will be having surgeries in the near future, she doesn't want to go vacation so soon after.

Also, my grandma hasn't been working very much a says she won't have any spending money for herself for the trip. I've told her time and time again that she's doesn't have to worry about it, but she doesn't want to have to ask me to buy every little thing. And yes she does still work, she's worked at the same banquet hall for the last 20 years and just will not quit. But do to the economy, there hasn't been very many events.

So she decided that we should all just save up and go next year when the babies are a little bigger and we can all go together.

So, Girls Trip is now off. Mia is disappointed but understands. Steve and I are going to take her to Bristol Renaissance Faire this summer. It's not Disney but it will still be fun.

So....now for the new-ish trip.
