He just told me that when he was planning to surprise me at Disney, he was going to look up my PTR, here on the DIS to check out my plans for the day and figure out when I had an ADR and where and surprise me there.

Thank you Liessa. The ring is actually my Great-Grandmother's ring that my uncle passed down to my mother for me to use and she gave it to Steve.

And I just might need a photographer is we decide to do a Disney Wedding for sure **Wink, Wink**

We're just throwing around idea right now, We haven't started the real planning yet.

Well Guys, I now have a reason to lurk in the Disney Weddings & Honeymoon board. My Darling Boyfriend is now my Darling Fiance!!! He just proposed to me an hour or so ago.

I've been sick all day after a nasty test at the hospital early this morning. We had planned on going to our favorite Japanese restaurant for dinner but I wasn't feeling up to it. So he ran to his mom's house for a bit while I rested at home on the couch catching up on Dexter. Then he walked in the door with a dozen gerber daisies (my favorite flowers) and got down on one knee in the kitchen and asked to marry me.

He had a about a million other ideas but my sickness prevented him from making them happen. He was actually going to drive down to Disney while I was there with my grandma and Mia, find my in the MK, surprise me and propose to me there. I have to say that is an amazing plan but what he did today totally caught me off guard and it was still special.

I just heard the good news!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone in DISland. I can't believe my PTR actually went all the way down the the 5th page. But I'm back now with more planning to do than ever!! But I'll give you a run down of what I've been up to the last few days.

Since I'm exciting and uber surprising engagement last Saturday, I've been very busy preparing for my surgery going to doctors appointments, getting tests done, ect.

So this past Thursday, I went under the knife and had the cyst removed that had been bothering me. He was able to remove the cysts without taking any of my baby making parts. Everything turned out alright and there were no complications. I had a private room and Steve was able to stay with me for the first 3 nights in the room. He was such a huge helping me get back and forth to the bathroom at all hours of the night, as my nurses were a tad slow on the uptake. At one point he was able to get me unhooked from all the monitors, to and from the bathroom, and hooked back up to everything before a nurse even poked her head in the room. Now I'm gingerly hobbling around the house, resting up while I get better.

While I was layed up in my hospital bed I did however find something good to watch. There was a really cool special about Disney on the Travel Channel Saturday night. (I'm sure they will replay it at some point in time, or you might be able to find it on your cable network's on-Demand, if you have such feature)

But basically the premise was different tv personalities like Samantha Brown, Roger Mooking, Matt Blashaw, and David Bromstad (the winner of Design Star) talking about they're experiences with Disney. Sam Brown mostly talked about the AKL and ToT. Then the winner of Design Star David Bromstad kept talking about how he is a huge Disney Freak and loves everything about Disney. Steve turns to me and says "Is HE on your Disney Board." And that got me thinking, he very well could be. Then a guy who does a lot of shows on the DIY network did a whole segment about his Disneymoon!! How appropriate. He actually did a Land/Sea trip.

This is what happened during this segment:

I'm seriously looking into this for our Disneymoon. And Maybe I will even be able to afford to stay on the brand spankin' new Disney Dream. That would be so sweet.

I've mentioned to Steve before that if would love to stay the AKL with a savana view. He think the hotel looks really nice but he's one reservation was that the savana would smell like a zoo. You know what I mean, how Zoos have that stinky animal smell, he doesn't want to pay extra money for the view if our room constantly smells like the zebra habitat at the local zoo. I've never heard of this ever being a problem with people who've had savanah views but I've thought of that before too. The Segment Sam Brown did on AKL was so awesome, he was sold.

So now, not only are we planning a trip for October we're also planning a Disneymoon. But I think I would rather like to have the wedding close to home after all and just do the Disneymoon.

Also, Disney added more specials for our new dates with free counter service dining. So I think I'm going to call Disney in the morning and get that special.

Hi Kristin!! I'm so gad to hear that you are doing well after the surgery. Aw, Steve is such a sweet guy. I'm so glad you have found each other.

I didn't catch the special on the travel channel but I am sure they will replay it so I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.

A Disneymoon is a great idea. You could aways ask guests to give you guys Disney gift cards to pay for any expenses you'll have on the trip.

Hi Everyone. Welcome to my new PTR! This is 5th, yes 5th PTR I've made since september. Every time I plan or book a trip to Disney, the universe says no, and I have to either delay it or cancel it altogether.

First trip I planned: For my grandmother's birthday in September 2011 with my Aunt and her family
That trip didn't pan out because my aunt couldn't afford it

Next trip I planned: A girls trip with Me, my grandmother and my oldest cousin
My grandma had to have cataract surgery and isn't cleared to travel. Although now she probably could have after all

The Third trip I planned: My boyfriend and I celebrating 8 years together in Disney, where he had planned to propose to me. (he did end up proposed to me in the middle of our Kitchen instead. It was really sweet.)
I had to have surgery last week to have some ovarian cysts removed and now I can't travel either.

So now, this is THE TRIP. One Trip to Rule Them All. The Trip of Destiny.

As God is my witness if I will get to Disney one way or another by the end of this year if I have to hitch hike my way there.

The Dates: October 20-26
Resort: Pop Century
What are we celebrating: My birthday.
Special Events: MNSSHP and F&W

Steve: My DF, all around sweet guy, the love of my life. He loves Disney almost as much as I do. His absolute favorite being Nightmare Before Christmas. He's no Disney virgin, however, no commando either.

Went to doctor today and got the staples out from my recent surgery. Now I can get around easier. I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Things are going really well, and I'm getting back to planning my trip.

I feel like I have sooo much stuff to plan now. I feel like a kid in a candy store. I have my Disney trip to plan. Now that I'm engaged I have a wedding to plan. Steve and I are going to take some time out in our trip to talk to the DFTW people while were there. And then, I have my Disneymoon to plan. Because that is a definate thing.

Right now for the wedding I'm looking at late October 2012 or 2013, depending on how big it ends up being and how much money I need to save. The main thing is that my DF has and big family and so do I and we have lots of friends too. Not to mention co-works. That's a lot of people. The theme I'm thinking about currently is Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos being that I'm mexican and my heritage is very important to me. And Steve and I love Halloween.

So, that what I've been up to, Just sitting my butt behind the computer trying not to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.

Ooh, you're getting the free QS dining??? I can't wait to hear about that! I definitely want to try to get that for my 2013 trip, but I'm really not sure about eating that much. The savings are usually about the same for the times I go.

Hey Yuki. No I'm actually not getting free QS meals. The dates for that deal stopped at October 1st. However, the CM on the phone said that they will probably do free dining again in the fall this year and to call back to get that deal when they announce it.
