Finally going to disney!

I am fairly new to the Dis boards and planning our first disney vaction and have been reading everyones trip reports so thought I would start one.

I have been wanting to go to disney for around 6 years I refuse to fly and every year we keep saying wait till next year it will be easier. We have thought about going a few times and something always comes up and it gets moved back. We were starting to plan for a trip in October but I was afraid to take the girls out of school. So on June 1st I call my husband and say see if you can get off work anytime this month we are going to disney

I thought he would shoot it down and he emails me and says see if you can book it for June 17th I almost fell out of the chair. I called disney and booked my vacation for June 18th thru the 21st paid it in full and start calling around for my reservations

You are going to have the time of your lives! It's always exciting to hear about people going for the first time, because we all know what you're about to get into, and it is awesome! You just really can't comprehend how much there is to it until you get there. Where are you staying?

Hi,

I know I am so excited I think more than the kids we are staying at All Star Sport it was not my first choice but with it being such a last minute trip I happy just to go.

We are going to Disney Woohoo

As soon as I booked the hotel All Star Sport I start figuring out where to do food reservations at. I called and tried for the Castle but I knew it wasn't going to happen but was pretty excited with what we got!

Princess Storybook Dinner
Cape May Breakfast
50's Primetime Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern
Le Cellier ( lunch)

We are doing 3 character meals I wanted to do them because I figure it took me this long to get to disney who knows when I will get back.

I booked Bippity Botique for the day when we eat at the Princess Storybook dinner we got the smallest package. I asked my daughters if they wanted to dress up my younger one the Diva said Yes I need lots of accessories she decided to dress up as Sleeping Beauty My older daughter said NO WAY!!!

I go and buy the dresses and my older daughter says I want one too so she is going to dress up as Belle. She is not into the Princesses at all and I am shocked that she wants to dress up as one maybe some disney magic will rub off of on her.

You will have a blast and the kids will love Disney....Cape may Cafe is a great character breakfast. Lots of character interaction and not very loud like some of the other ones.

We have done lunch and dinner at Le Cellier cannot go wrong.

Take lots of pictures.

So exciting and so soon! Glad you got all those ADR's; they look great.

I bet your girls are going to look adorable all dressed up. That is so special. LOL at the oldest wanting to be part of the fun!

I can't believe we leave in 7 days!!!!


I think I am more excited then the girls I am trying to make a list of must sees but I don't want the trip to be too structured. I really don't think we will last in Animal Kingdom for more than a half day. I am betting that most of our days will be in Magic Kindgom.

My older daughter loves Kermit the Frog he is kind of a fifth family member her whole room is Frogs so I am so excited to take her to Muppet 3D vision. Alexis loves High school Musical so I am hoping we can catch the pep rally

I want to go to downtown disney the first day we are there because we aren't going to the park I figured they would love the lego store and considering we would have drived 16 1/2 hours in the 2 days before it is probably better that we take kind of a slow day.
