I have officially gone 2 weeks without fretting/worrying/reconsidering/feeling guilty about our resort choices! :thumbsup2 This is HUGE -- I first booked back in July and have been up and down about it all until finally deciding on a split-stay at POR and YC!

Just want to thank all the great DISers who helped me feel A) less crazy about constantly wondering, B) offered great advice/suggestions on where to go, and C) helping me see the value of a split-stay.

Now, onto the maze of ADRs! :rolleyes1

Yay!!! Good for you, that's a great feeling...it hasn't been quite as long since
my last change, but I feel pretty solid right now...and have already started planning our ADR's for our stay at BC...I am hoping I won't have the inkling to change anytime soon!!!

I've done that particular split stay myself:). I hope you have a great trip!

What happened to WL? Heck, I thought last week was the Poly?

Good Choice!! I love split stays. How many days at each resort? POR first?

I had been back and forth and around again... first it was BWI, then WL... then POR... and now the split. Each time I changed it I was like "YES... except..." Now, however, I haven't even had a second thought, so I feel pretty content in how we have it.

We're doing 3 nights at POR and 4 at YC. Our 'move' day is one we planned as a down day, so we figure we'll pack up, drop bags and then enjoy Stormalong Bay and the Boardwalk.

I'm so excited and am glad my in-laws will get to experience a variety. They have never been to Disney and I know will enjoy walking the resorts as much as being in the parks, and they are actually enthused with switching hotels to see different areas. We haven't told DD about the second half being at YC and she always points out SAB when she sees pictures of it, so it'll be fun to surprise her with the switch.

It's good to hear people enjoyed their splits -- I was nervous at first but now I feel like it will be a good fit for us.

Sounds like a great plan :thumbsup2 I'm sure you'll love it. I'll be at YC in less two days :cool1: can't wait!
I like to start out at POR and then "Upgrade" to the deluxe.

LOL!!! I'm very unpredictable. :lmao: Long story short, we had switched to WL from Poly/AKL split stay to save some $$ since DH and the girls are going to be in a wedding at the beginning of July, but I had my reservations about Poly too...then, DH got a promotion and so I switched to BC...another resort that I had been considering and previously booked at for this upcoming trip. I think BC will be the perfect for though for this trip. I had really wanted to save the WL for a Christmas trip, and for when my girls can actually swim (no zero entry at WL...)
