After much discussion over the past year and a half we finally made our first offer on a DVC at OKW. (resale of course) The waiting is killing me! Any idea on how long the usual wait is once you have made an offer? We offered pretty close to asking price. Thanks! I hope to be joining all you DVC members soon!

Depends on the seller, some 1 hour, some 1 day, others may be on vacation or in another country.

On there, there is a link to a DVC search engine, which I didn't know about looking for our contract, but I googled it, and sure enough it came up! All resales. Good luck, I am sure you will find the right contract!

While I sympathize with the OP. (that really bites!) I find a bit of humor here. While most timeshare purchasers suffer buyers remorse, in regard to DVC I hear of a lot of sellers remorse.

You aren't kidding. We sold our VGC contract in 2012 for $95/point and we're happy to break even. We used our points every year, but didn't once stay there so we sold them. If we'd only waited...
