I decided on these restaurants so far for our Sept 2012 two week trip:

Ohana - everyone suggested it

California Grill - staying at the CR so giving this a go

Rose & Crown Pub - wanted to try for a illumination view

Yachtsman Steakhouse - visiting the YC and heard it was good

Le Cellier Steakhouse - Epcot (TS for L/ SD for D) - heard it was good a well

Chef Mickey's

Kouzzina by Cat Cora - saw Cat Cora on tv

The Wave - convenience

Chefs de France

Tony's Town Square Restaurant

Plaza Restaurant

Any additions or changes that you guys think should be made? I will prob be on the regular dining plan...but so far these are the reservations I want to for our trip. Any advice, additions, reviews, changes is appreciated! Thanks!

I would ditch Tony's for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. My favorite TS in MK. :thumbsup2

You have almost every restaurant I DON'T have for my trip! I'm there next week and have:

Tutto Italia
Kona Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Boma
Hoop Dee Doo

Many of the restaurants you named, I looked into, but I booked my trip in July for September, and many of those, like Ohana, Le Cellier, and some of the others, I haven't seen any openings for since I booked. Still, I'm happy with my choices!

So, my suggestion, based on my own experience, is book as SOON as you can for those restaurants, because, if you don't you probably won't get into all of them.

Fun picks! But if you do Le Cellier for lunch you're using 13 TS credits; if you go for dinner you're up to 14 credits. If you really want to book all these restaurants you'd either better be staying for 2 weeks or you need to compare the oop costs to the cost of DxDP.

Ohana - We love it!! Its our traditional first night dinner on every trip

California Grill - Good choice! overall neat experience... good food, amazing views, watching wishes is magical...

Rose & Crown Pub - never been

Yachtsman Steakhouse - never been

Le Cellier Steakhouse - I loved my meal there, dh was so-so but we both LOVED the maple creme brulee

Chef Mickey's only done breakfast... food is meh but characters are a blast

Kouzzina by Cat Cora - never been

The Wave - never been

Chefs de France never been

Tony's Town Square Restaurant never been

Plaza Restaurant never been

I had a friend who went to Disney for the first time with a large group in July. He made a reservation for Rose and Crown in late May or June for an hour before Illuminations. He checked in and reminded them that he wanted an outdoor table. No problems he was ushered to a great table, and enjoyed his dinner and the show. He acted like it was no big deal. He said his whole trip was that way.

Davidc1 I wish you the same luck!

Ohana - We love this one too! We try to hit this one on every trip

California Grill - We really liked this one too. It was a bit too gourmet for our taste but it was nice for a change of pace.

Rose & Crown Pub - This is a really nice stop after a long day at the parks. It's quiet, cool and charming. The food is good too.

Yachtsman Steakhouse - One of my favorites for dinner. Loved the London Broil for two!

Le Cellier Steakhouse - This is a hot spot and the food it good. We liked the charming atmosphere. The dinner menu is much more extensive than the lunch menu.

Chef Mickey's - we've only done breakfast her too - foods only so-so.

Kouzzina by Cat Cora - never been

The Wave - never been

Chefs de France - The food here is very good. The restaurant is small and so sometimes it can get really really loud.

Tony's Town Square Restaurant - Food was only OK.

Plaza Restaurant never been

Hey we are staying for two weeks and hitting the parks in Sept 2012! lol hopefully the free dining is still offered during that time. But yes we are staying for two weeks.

So many mixed reviews for Tony's! Not sure what to do but its either that or the Liberty tree tavern.

I definitely recommend Liberty Tree for lunch - so much better than Tony's. If you want Italian on the dining plan I suggest Tutto's or Via Napoli at Epcot.

I 100% agree with this.....Tony's was gross.

I agree, DITCH TONYS! Its the most disgusting meal i've ever had in my whole life. Imagine chef boyardee, I think Tony's is way below that.

Your much better off at Liberty Tree or Crystal Palace.

I really like your picks! :thumbsup2

The only one I would question is Koussina. We ate there our last trip and were really unimpressed. I know other people have liked it though, so this is just our take on it

You have some good choices there! I especially like the California Grill and Kouzzina.

If you're still looking for advice, I agree with the others about replacing Tony's with Liberty Tree Tavern.

Made a few changes to my list!

Here's the revised list:

CA Grill
Artist's Point
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Flying Fish
Narcoosee's
Le Cellier-lunch
Ohana's
Teppan Edo
Rose and Crown Pub-OOP
Plaza-OOP
Tutto Italia

I like your revised list. You're right to consider Jiko, though. I think it would be a good replacement for Artist Point or Narcoossee's.
