Greetings to all Fort campers. Long time lurker, couldn't stand just reading the posts and finally decided to join the FUN. Not sure I'm liking the new set up for the DIS, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. My crew includes Me (52), DW (I'll leave this one blank), DD (17), DS (14), 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 ferrets, and an African Grey parrot. Believe me it's logistically easier to take them all with rather than have someone at my home watching them. Our mobile zoo is a 40' Fleetwood Excursion. Planning a trip for sometime in July. Not the most optimum time to go but DS is planning on summer camp for Boy Scouts and DD will be going off to college in the fall, so we have to fit it in when we can. If all goes well, pre trip report with pictures will be coming soon.

Actually, it really depends on where you normally spend your time and what that weather is like. I live outside St Louis. The temperatures are often hotter in StL with the same humidity, so the Fort is actually more comfortable. Crowds will be typical "schools out" levels. Which is manageable. I'll take summer crowds over Spring Break crowds. Those seem to be the only times of the year I come to the Fort.
We can't wait to see them.
