I'm looking forward to it as well, because although i won't get to go to WDW this fall, your fantastic pictures and wonderful stories will make me feel like I'm there too!
In the meantime I will wait to see what crocs you end up with. Since my caymans fell victim to reality TV, I snuck out during my lunch break last week and picked up a black pair of the mary janes. they are awesome!

Crocs make Clinton cry, I bet! (Dude, I totally have a crush on Clinton. Somehow, I don't see THAT working out, though! )

I've tried on the Mary Janes, but my giant Amazon Woman feet just don't look cute in them!

So jealous of your crocs store. I would have to get a part time job there. Wish we had one around here. I have to settle for small selections at local stores.

I'm getting ready to go shop in about an hour! I can't decide if I'm crazy enough to take my camera, or just whip out my camera phone for pictures. The camera obviously takes better pics, but with the phone I can play it off like I'm sending a text message or something. You know, "Sorry, Orlando Bloom, I can't come have lunch with you and Johnny right now, I am shoe shopping!"

This is a REALLY dumb time for me to be setting foot in that store- I am BROKE right now- any superfluous shoe shopping is going to have to go on the credit cart. (Onto which I just put my big ol' deposit for AKL. D'oh!) And I need to keep in mind that I need money for the TRIP, not just all of the things I need to buy BEFORE the trip (New eyeliner is a need, not a want.)

Well, THAT was anticlamactic!

I've been waiting for like a MONTH for the Crocs store to open so I can go buy my shoes!

Here's my basic shopping list:
Crocs Capris- either the pink, the blue, or both
Black Sassari wedges
Possibly a new pair of Athens or Ithica, if I don't get both pairs of Capris.

I was all set to do my Disney shoe shopping today- I gathered up a bunch of the checks I get for doing surveys online, stopped by the bank to cash them so I'd have enough cash for a few pairs of shoes. I was set!

I made it to the Crocs store, and at first glance, it looked great!

It LOOKS great, but after one lap around the store, my smile melted. They had the Beach Crocs, the Endeavor, some Mary Janes, Primas, Nile... and that was about it. They had Ithicas, but only in brown.

I actually stopped to look at the Primas for my mom, but they were ALL size 8! I asked the clerk if they had them in a 9, and she said no, they only had 8's. She said that since they're an outlet, they only get certain things. SAD!

Looks like I'm going to have to give in and order my shoes from Amazon! I really didn't want to, because I've found from trying them on in stores that each individual pair seems to fit differently. But since nobody here HAS the ones I want, I guess I'm stuck! (There is a Crocs store in the Orlando airport, so I could buy my trip shoes there, but then I'd have no time to break them in first!)

So, sorry this ended up being much less exciting than we were all hoping for! I'm off to amazon.com!

At least now if they dont fit from amazon you should have time to exchange them back.

How disappointing. Have you tried one of the myriad of online shoe sites that offer free shipping both ways (I don't think Amazon does). Plus, if you use a rewards program, you get money back!

I just ordered a pair of Capris and Sassaris through Amazon, but now I'm wondering if I should have done it through shoebuy or somewhere that has free shipping, like you said! I used Amazon since I had $23 worth of gift certificates for there. But then I had to pay $13 shipping, so maybe I should have ordered elsewhere! (Especially since Shoebuy has $10 off $40 or more right now!) Sadly, Shoebuy didn't have the black Sassaris, though.

Ah, well, I'll just cross my fingers and hope they fit!

Not sure how much the ones at the outlet were- there were no prices anywhere! (And I'm too lazy to use the quote button today, if you can't tell!) They did have black Athens, so I may stop back buy and get those, if they have my size.

I usually order my shoes from shoebuy.com b/c of the free shipping plus you can usually find a code to get them even cheaper. I got my Athens for about 15 bucks.

I just canceled my order with Amazon, because I just felt... icky...about paying $13 for shipping. $13 is almost enough for a Kungaloosh for you and a friend!

I ordered the Capris through Shoebuy with a discount code, so at least I'll be able to send them back for free if they don't work. Now I just need to find teh Sassaris!

What a disappointing day! First the let down of the Crocs store. Then canceling your amazon order. Hopefully, you'll find the sassaris somewhere else. 13 dollars IS a lot for shipping.

What a bummer about the Croc store. I know how it is when you build up this idea of how something is going to be and then you finally get there and it is totally different

Hopefully you are able to find all the Crocs you want, even if that means buying them in Orlando

Sorry to hear about the disappointing Crocs Store! I would have been SO excited to go there as well! The only Crocs Store I've been in is the one at MCO - I wasn't able to find Capris anywhere around here & Shoebuy didn't have my size, so I ended up ordering directly from the Crocs website...it was $10 for shipping. I wasn't happy about it, but needed to get them broken in before our trip.

The Orlando Airport store isn't much better.....it's super tiny and they only have a few colors in the styles. Do you have a Journeys or anything like that? Sometimes they sell the funkier styles.

Crocs.com has free shipping but only for orders over $100.....maybe you and the girls could pool an order together amongst yourselves? I actually got my Ithacas on ebay, if you're patient you may be able to get some there. I payed $34 including shipping!

A new bag! And it's pink! I love bags/purses. They are one of my weaknesses. I once spent an insane amount of money on a beautiful purse at the Coach store while visiting my grandparents in Ohio. I couldn't resist though, it was just so gorgeous!

This is the new bag

Just a simple bubblegum pink messenger bag. It looks like it will be big enough to carry all of my junk around, without being so giant that it becomes annoying.

One issue I had with the Baggallini was that it has a zillion compartments- which is handy, but it means that every time you go through security at the park entrance, you have to unzip them all!

I'll give a review when I get it! It's a race to see if the bag or the shoes get here first!

Hey Crystal - sorry to hear about the big Crocs disappointment. It is easily assuaged with new Athens and bag though!

I'm sooooo pumped about my Halloween trip I can't contain myself, and I know you must feel the same way. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S ONLY TWO MONTHS AWAY??????? That time will fly by like the wind!!! Soon we will both be in DISNEY!!

Shoebuy lets you sign up to receive an email when the shoes you want are in stock. I got black and white sassaris that way.

I have notorious feet, they get blisters if I move them. Maybe the crocs will be decent looking ones i can walk a little bit in.

I just called to try to switch our resort reservations- still no other value resorts available, and no standard view at WL (Although they did have woods now, which is an improvement from last time I called!

I'm a little nervous to be staying at AKL- I love the resort, but with all of the construction going on, I'm a little concerned. It looks like most of the main building construction will be completed by our trip, but this far out, it's hard to guess what the overall impact will be.

I guess that on the bright side, the fact that it seems to have way more availability than the other deluxes means we'll have a better chance of being upgraded, right?

And bleh, I hate being up this time of day! The cat woke me up at 6, and allergies have kept me awake ever since. I have to work tonight, so I really need some sleep!
