FINALLY COMPLETE! 10/3/2010- But Why is the Rum Gone? Disneyween 2007

I still think you should figure out a way to do Disneyween! :thumbsup2 I also want to hear about your recent non-disney trip!

I know, me too! Stupid wedding. Next year hopefully I will be in attendance for some of your WDW adventures (cause we all know you'll be going back again, and again, and again...right??!)

I did start a thread for my latest adventure - unfortunately i can't post too much about it on a public forum until the show airs in three months! boo.

And also, this!:

Is gorgeous! I love it!

I was going to post this right at midnight, but my internet went down! Oh well...

As of right now, we have...

100 days!

until Disneyween!

I can't believe that on Thursday, I will actually hit the double digits!!!

I think I hit double digits on Saturday! ... It's great following your pre-trip report, as I've sort of hit the wall early for this trip. I've got all my reservations, and everything is paid for.

Now I'm just kinda sitting around for the next 99 days. Atleast I have the rest of the summer to enjoy, but Sept/Oct are going to be the boring 60 day crunch

love love loveee your scrap book!! i wish i could plan lyk you do!! your pre-trippie report is amazinggg !! :thumbsup2

Her alternator died, which amazes me, because she's only 3 years old! They just don't make em like they used to! But then when I went to the mechanic to pick her up, she STILL didn't work! Needless to say, it was a frustrating few days! :headache:

That is so weird, b/c my cousin's alternator just went out, so my dad replaced it, and she drove it for a few minutes and it messed up again! Now my dad isn't sure what's wrong but he may have to replace the alternator again, and he just did it yesterday! :sad2:

Crazy stuff!

Thanks for all the scrapbook love! :woohoo: I'm sure I'll get bored and have more pictures to post within the next 99 days!

This cracks me up, since our trip is the exact opposite right now! Not sure where we're staying, how many days Kelly can go, no ADRs made, nothing (except for MNSSHP tickets) is paid for.. we're slackers! ;)

I swear, I think there is some funky planetary allignment or something breaking cars! I was supposed to be loaning my mom my car last weekend becaus she had somewhere important to go, and hers was doing the "check engine" light thing. I got in and started mine and it was fine, but the second I turned on the AC and radio, it went crazy! Being not so wise in the ways of cars, I came in the house, got on the DIS, and said "What the heck is wrong with my car?" The DISers are a bright bunch- they figured it out within minutes! So I sent it in to be fixed, went back to pick it up on Monday, started it, and... the air and radio wouldn't come on! :headache:

The funny thing is that while I was at work last weekend, a lady called to cancel her reservation because she had started off on her trip, and her car died, so she went back and got her other car, and it broke down, too! Crazyness!

Just a note- I probably won't be on the ol' internets much this weekend. I'll be out at midnight on Friday to get my copy of Harry (wearing my Gryffindor Quidditch shirt, thank you!), and I'll have my nose stuck in a book for many, many hours after! But I'll probably avoid coming online most of Friday to be sure I avoid spoilers. This Pottering stuff is serious business!

Also! Next weekend (the 28th & 29th), I'm doing an awesome charity event called the Blogathon to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. It's a little like a marathon, but instead of running around, we sit on our butts and post to our blogs every half hour for 24 hours! We've already got more than $36,000 in pledges and 353 people participating this year, which is just full of awesomeness! If you'd like to find out more about the event, the site is blogathon.org I'm sure we're not allowed to post "sponsor me!" type links here, but I bet that if you looked through the list of participants, you would see one called Straight On Till Morning, whose blog sounded and looked an awful lot like me! :rolleyes1

Either way, I'm glued to the computer that whole weekend, so I'd love any e-mails, blog comments, trip report comments, or anything else to entertain me!

Wow, that got a bit off topic, huh? Um....

I'm going to Disney World in 99 days! The car I was talking about has a Disney World antenna topper! And I'm sure I'll talk about WDW in my blog!

Whew! And we're back on topic! :thumbsup2

That is a very cut autograph book, and I like the idea. I wish I could be there! I'd sign it! Can't wait to read your Blogathon! I'm sure I'll be online at some point that weekend. I'll try to entertain you! :surfweb:

I swear, I had the same idea for personalizing an autograph book for my October trip! Great (or weird) minds think alike. The piratey stickers are absofab. Srsly.

I'll have to check out your site during the blogathon - it sounds like a worthwhile cause and a fantastic excuse to spend all day on the computer! :3dglasses

Crystal...loving your book. Where did you get all the cute pirate scrapbook supplies?

Given that I usually celebrate holidays by posting themed pictures of my cat Tallulah, I'll mark the beginning of my 2 days of no internet with the following:

See you all on the other side of the weekend!

You got a new tag didn't you?

The racoon one?

anywho...I am going to try to chime in for your blogathon..but I will going to go see me some Michael Buble....

Mmmm....Michael....

Hope your car is better soon and I love your book!

Hiya Crystal,

I just waded my way through all 17 pages of your pre-trip report tonight while at work. Your trip sounds fantastic so far and I love the autograph book you put together, very creative. I read your January trip report back when I was a lurker and so now I am really excited that I will get to read your new report from the start and I promise I will actually post this time:thumbsup2

I totally understand the Harry Potter madness. My copy is being delivered to my house Saturday morning so hopefully it will be in my hands in a few short hours. I will not unglue myself from that book until I finish as I know some idiot will spoil it for me if I do.

Can't wait to hear more about you trip planning.

I'm back! Finished reading this afternoon, and I'm still pretty emotionally exhausted from it! WOW.

The racoon one?

I did! I kept getting mysterious knocks on my front door in the middle of the night, and posted on the CB. One of my theories was raccoons with rhythm! ;)

Your autograph book is terrific!

What a great idea, having people other than characters sign it. That will surely make for some good memories. You'll have to take tons of pics to go along with the autographs!

i am thinking of you this weekend Crystal, as my roommate is also locked in his room reading the last harry potter book...he keeps getting so excited about what he's reading, and none of our friends will talk to him about it because they are all reading it too, that he keeps calling me over and whispering the latest developments to me. so i know a few of the secrets already :listen:

Emotionally exhausted is the exact same way I felt too & what I told my husband when we both finished.

Now on with the pre-trippie..............:banana:because with Harry Potter all wrapped up whatever will we do??????:sad2:

I am still reading...lurking, but reading :)
I love the autograph book you made. I wish I would have thought of something like that to do for my nephew. He is a BIG Pirates fan (me too :D) and a big Stitch fan.

I can't wait to read if you girls decide to drive to Miami to get a tattoo. I have a couple and would love for Ami or any of the guys to do my next one. I was just telling my best friend, on one of our trips down, we needed to drive down to Miami. It's been a long time since I have been there.

I love the autograph books Crystal! I can't even tell you how wicked cute they are. Dont worry about the last pages you did a great job. :goodvibes

Hope your having fun reading your HP book! By friend finished it at 5am this morning and told me the whole ending :confused3. Oh well I will still want to read it for myself!

I know how he feels! My friends are all still reading too, and I'm going to go nuts if I don't get to discuss it at length with someone soon!

I wish I had more pre-tripness to report about, just to combat the Post-Potter Depression! If only they were going to have the new HP area of Universal open for our trip, I could tie all of my Potter yammering into the report! ;)

It looks like it would be such a fun road trip! It's just a few hours, and mostly near the coast, so we could probably make a beach stop along the way! If we go or not mostly comes down to how many days Kelly can get off from work. As cool as Miami Ink is, I'll be fighting for as many Disney days as possible!

Thanks! I'm hoping the non-pirate pages will grow on me :)

re: HP- read it, read it! Just have some chocolate, kleenexes, and an appointment for therapy afterwards handy! ;) (Okay, perhaps I'm taking it all a bit too hard?)
