Finally bought myself a little something...

Some of you may remember that the night Junior was killed we had been talking about going to get my Christmas present when he got back home. Well he couldn't decide between going to get it himself that night and waiting until he was home and taking me along. He wanted to see my face when I picked it out.

Last week I got some money that I didn't have to put elsewhere and decided to go ahead and get my IPod. Here I am in Best Buy picking out the stuff talking to him and telling him that I hope he is happy knowing I finally got it.

I would have gotten it sooner since he had the cash on him that night to get it and wanted to do it first thing when he got back home. Apparently after the accident someone figured out he had over $400 in cash and they decided to treat themselves to it. I hope they enjoyed my IPod money! Hope they at least did something useful with it and didn't blow it on drugs or something.

Anyway, I am not sitting here listening to it and I'm happy. Not only do I have my music but I know that Junior is smiling down knowing that I finally went and bought myself something and didn't put it off knowing that the money could be better used elsewhere. I can't believe I just went and spent that much money! Oh, I better stop thinking about that before I start freaking out over spending too much money.

There are times in life when you need to treat yourself and this is one.

Of course I had to go with the 60GB. Right now it has nearly 450 songs on it. I didn't download any of my pictures though. I've got at least 10,000 concert shots on my computer and it would take way too long to pick which ones I want on the IPod.

Does it sound like I have a music addiction? Now if I could just get my other MP3 player in the right spot to record concerts. That would be sweet! I would love to have some shows on here to listen to as well. Yeah, my bands know when I record and they are fine with it as long as I'm not selling it or anything.

This has me thinking. Can you tell? Maybe some day I'll make a book of my concert shots. I can't believe that I already have over 10,000 and those are from the last 2 years. I can't help it! My finger gets "trigger" happy.

Now if I can just figure out all the little features. But for now I'm happy because I have my music on there.

Last night for the first time in a very long time I had some peaceful and fun dreams about him. Hmmm. Wonder if me finally doing what he wanted had anything to do with it? Or was it this fever?
