Finally booked my June trip

Have prices gone up that much? I booked the Poly for 12 days in the middle of June. My AAA rate was $4442, tax included. That is $370 a night for a gardenview room! Last year at this time I paid $270 tax included for the same room. I can't believe it has gotten that high. I doubt the AP rate will be any better if there even is one. DH told me I might be staying in the Allstars Arena as he likes to call it! He is Disney illiterate but he just may be right! LOL!

For that kind of money you could get a 2bdrm at most DVC's by renting points

I went over to the DVC boards to try to find someone to rent points from. It is wicked over there. Someone will post their points for rent, and they will have 10 people in a matter of minutes willing to rent them. That is my goal though. I want to rent points for April 07.

Try posting your own thread. I did that when we were considering it for our June trip and I had 3 PM's within the hour. Each of them were selling for around 10 dollars per point, which is VERY affordable

Thanks but I don't want to stay in the DVC condos. I prefer a hotel room. Weird I know but that is why I would never buy into DVC. I prefer the deluxe rooms instead.
