Finally Booked at BWV

We've tried the last couple of years to book a 2 BR villa in June at BWV, but have been unable to get one (SSR is our home). This year though, we were able to get a 2BR at the 7-month window! We also got our request for a 2BR at Kidani Village! I should have bought a lottery ticket that day, huh?! Looking forward to staying 6 nights at BWV and then 6 nights at AKV Kidani. Hope everyone else gets their requests!

That's great that you were finally able to get it!!

Just had to post because your trip sounds so much like our upcoming trip in April. We're new DVC members (AKV) and are staying 5 nights in a 1BR at BWV followed by 5 nights in a 1BR savannah view at Kidani We were so excited to try both of these resorts that we decided we had to do a split stay!

I have to say BWV has grown on me the last several years, this past June (we go every June) we spent a wonderful week there. I've stayed at all of the resorts and lately the mousekeeping staff at BWV has it all over the other resorts. The 2 br was clean and well stocked, on the 4th day even more so, even though it was not a refferbished unit (other than the bedspread) it was immaculate, better than AKV, BCV, SSR & OKW.

Sounds like a superb vacation, you have a lot to look forward to!

Sounds like a great vacation, I'm glad you were able to book it. In June, the BW is great because there often are concerts at Epcot, and after the concert and Illuminations it's great to be able to walk home! We're so spoiled, we only "do" Illuminations when we're staying at BWV or BCV. Of course, the animals at AKV make that just very special too!

That is good to hear because I have noticed that there has been somewhat of a decline at OKW and SSR in the mousekeeping over the last couple of years. I know it can be hit and miss depending on the crew that is assigned to your area, but lately it seems to have been a miss!

Yes, looking forward to this! Our youngest will be 16 by then, and our oldest will have her boyfriend along so going to Epcot for the concerts and Illuminations was high on our list!

DH and I booked one night, before we head to Vero and our family/friends vacation there, and we picked BW exactly because of the concert and Illuminations. I hope there's a Sounds Like Summer, concert, or whatever they are called, on June 26th!
