Finally...Belle in her yellow ballgown!!

You never know with all the pixie dust floating around WDW...when we met Belle it was my sisters birthday as you can probably tell by the huge button that she is wearing in the photo that I posted, it was my birthday the day before, maybe its a birthday thing? You know, we've only seen Aurora in her blue dress at WDW, never the pink. And dd really wants to see her in pink. I just checked the pictures from our trips and yep, she's in blue! Maybe it's the time of year (fall) that we go?

Oh wow, could be... I've only ever gone May/June and only seen the pink dress. We're going at Christmas time this year and I'd be so excited to see her blue dress!

Why is it so rare to see Belle in the yellow dress in WDW but at DL she can be found doing most of her meet and greets in the ball gown? Just interested if anyone knows why this is?

I don't know why it is, but we were the complete opposite. We go to Disneyland about twice a week and Belle is always in here yellow gown.

During our 1st trip to WDW, when we saw Belle in her blue outfit we were excited that she was dressed differently!!

Also, Aurora is always in blue at DL, but the 3 times we've seen her at WDW she has been in her pink dress (so this was also exciting to us).

WOW- DD would LOVE to see Belle in her yellow ball gown- and her mommy would too!!!
As far as Aurora goes- we used to see her only in her blue dress. This really bothered DD as her favorite color is pink. I think in the past year and a half she has started wearing her pink dress mainly. I began around the holiday season one year I believe and has been that way since. This past Dec. was our first trip seeing her in pink- saw her 3 times. The year before and our trips before she was always in blue.
Now if only Belle would start wearing her ball gown at WDW too- why not if she wears it at DL a lot?

They used to have Belle in her yellow ball gown during the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot...also sometimes in the red holiday gown during the Holiday season. At least that's what I remember from when I used to work there. I think the pink Aurora gown is also used especially in colder months as it has additional layers to it. HTH

We were there July1-15 and we saw Belle twice in her yellow gown in Toontown (The Meet and Greet Tent) and once in her blue dress. DD was so happy to see her .....she calls her Belle when she is in Blue and Beauty when she is in the yellow!

I can see the reasoning behind that. The yellow dress makes her look more "Princessy". (New word I created.) We also saw her in the yellow dress and Aurora in the blue at DL quite a few years ago. Last year we saw Aurora in the pink on our March '04 visit.

Sorry if this was already explained, but --- is SB in pink or blue mainly in WDW now??? My DD3 really loves the pink gown!! (Although, I think she will be thrilled with either, I know she'll go nuts for the pink!! )
