Finalizing trip plans, am I missing anything?

I am taking my folks for a short strip in a few weeks (3/9-11). My dad has not been to any of the new Avatar rides and he has been chomping at the bit to get there, so this trip is his Bday/Christmas gift all rolled into one. Since things are a bit different this year and we only have 1 day at AK and 1 at Epcot, I just want to be sure I am not missing anything.

We are looking for a relaxed visit, just eating as we walk not wanting any reservations to limit us.

🥰 Our rooms are reserved on-site, early check-in done, bands ordered, phone app downloaded and we are all linked on there.

🥰 Our overall plans are set. We plan to shop on day 1, Epcot day 2, checkout then AK day 3, and straight home

🥰 I have an optimized plan printed out from Touring Plans for each park.

And that's it?

I feel lost that it took just minutes to get set up and not weeks as my old planning days did before. (Kind of sad about that part, it was so much fun!)

Thanks everyone!

If you're the type of person...
Have all of your food stops/snacks/shopping planned out. Especially Epcot Pavillions.
Contingency plans - like if Test Track is "down," or bad rain - just in case.

On a two day trip, and having the Touring Plans software at hand - it's nice and easy, imo. Love TP.

I'd also pay close attention to any announcements of things that might open.

If you’re not familiar with mobile ordering, I would recommend looking into it. Some places do run out of ideal times early in the day.
Have so much fun!

Deb

Did you get your park pass reservations? These are needed in addition to the ticket now. You say your plans are set in terms of which park each day, but you need to actually reserve the specific parks now, and wasn't clear from your post if you have done so.

I thought there was no walking around and eating at the same time? From what I've heard, mobile ordering is a must. Can take an hour to get your food, then you need to find a place to eat. Long lines, mobile order app not always working well..etc. Not all restaurants (QS and TS) are open yet. And not everything they once had is still on the menu. I think at least once a day it's nice to have a reservation. Knowing you'll be able to sit down, eat, and enjoy a meal because who knows what you'll be able to get.

Correct, I overlooked that line in OPs post but you absolutely cannot eat while walking around. You must have your mask on at all times when walking and can only eat when stationary and physically distanced from others. You can still order from walk up food carts or booths, but will need to take your food and find a bench or table or a place off to the side away from other people to remove your mask to eat it.

Yes, we have reservations, sorry forgot to mention that!
