Finalizing plans, requesting feedback

Heading down to the world on June 26th - July 6th and staying off site. I think I have most days pretty well laid out and we aren't doing parks all days. We have 7 day park hoppers, 3 adults, and 2 kids. One day we all want to try and stay out for Illuminations, but we want to start at MK that day and end at epcot. Is it better to park at epcot first then take the monorail to MK and then back, or just park at MK and drive to epcot later in the day?

Second - thoughts on July 3rd fireworks at MK? I have planned AK for the day with everyone, then back to resort. My wife and I would like to get out that night and leave the kids and other adult at the resort. It looks like historically the 3rd isn't too bad (or at least not as bad as the 4th) at MK, but do you all think we should drive back to MK, or take uber for the 2 of us?

Last year when we were there I noticed on a CM screen when someone scanned a MB for FP+ it stated "x's birthday week". Any idea if I saw correctly and how to have something like this tied to your ticket? (trip is for our 15th anniversary).

I'd park at Epcot and monorail to MK, at MK you have to park at the TTC so you have to take one of the little trams. If you are ending at Epcot it makes sense to just have your car there.

I'm not sure about the driving or Uber to MK, I park my car and never take it back out when I'm at Disney so I can't say how the parking lot would be after the FW.

I've been there many times on my birthday and haven't noticed it tied to my MB. They do ask if you are celebrating anything at the resorts but since you are staying off site I'm don't think there would be any way for the MB to know that. You can always stop at GS and get an anniversary button, you'll get lots of "happy anniversaries" from CM.
