Final Payment Sent!!

Called in our final payment for our 5/15 cruise!!!

Okay...now, a question I should have asked the TA. Will I receive anything before the 60-day mark about the excursions? I didn't book with DCL. I'm thinking they have to send something, otherwise people not wise enough to read these boards wouldn't know when to book their excursions.

The TA did say I will get my final documents about 2 weeks before the cruise, Fed Ex'd.

I can't believe it's almost here!!! I booked it LAST February -- 15 months is a loooooong time to wait! Pure torture.

It's great that time goes by so quickly as you're planning your cruise and hanging out on the DIS. This Saturday I'll be a year away from our next cruise!

My TA (and I use this term loosely), told me that I could book the excursions with her, when I got my documents. That would be like 2 weeks before the cruise. BIG MISTAKE! Thank goodness I got hooked on this forum, cause I would know NOTHING! I picked my excursions from the disney site, and then I called and booked them through disney themselves on the 60th day mark, they will let you do that even if you booked through a TA. So that was done. If I understand correctly one of the excursions we booked is sold out, so the people who wait for their documents or wait until they get on the boat, are out of luck.

We are on the May 9th 4 Day Wonder. My DW justed call to say we just received (in the mail) a write up of all the excursions as well as a reminder that the final payment is due Monday. Included was the phone number to book excursions. As I have not gotten home yet, that is all I know. We booked directly through DCL.

If you are interested in a popular excursion and have enough info from these boards and the other sites I would call to book as soon as you are allowed. I did not receive my official excursion info until way past the 60 day mark.

Congratulations NYDisneyMom! We're also going on the May 15th Eastern. DH made our final payment yesterday and let me tell you, I don't think I've ever seen him so happy just after writing a $3500 check.
